Erina Joestar | Jojo's Bizarre Adventure | OTA
Erina Joestar had several talents. None of them involved punching ghosts, or magic sunlight energies, which was fine enough for her. Erina was perfectly satisfied not wishing for abilities she did not have to do her daily tasks. As it stood, it was her morning to make the tea and feed their free-roaming pokemon before Jonathan awakened. She had gotten just outside and knelt down to start the fire (Peda trundling behind her in search of extra treats). She took one deep breath, exhaled, and touched the ground.
And found herself in a foot-high patch of grass, quickly proliferating into too-early spring flowers, and spreading several feet in all directions of her.
"Jonathan! Jonathan! Help!" Thank goodness she hadn't managed to light the fire!

Hmm. Well, regardless, Erina is shouting, and Jonathan practically breaks out of the tent as a result.
"Erina!? Are you alright!?"
no subject
"All, all of this just sprung up when I was trying to make tea!" She might cry, she really might, this is not what one expects to deal with when trying to make one's spouse their breakfast. Burnt bacon, yes. But growing a small garden around one's feet? No.

Unfortunately, he cannot feel what caused it. "An entire garden bed, right around you?" he repeats, clearly confused. "Are there no other pokemon save our own nearby?"
no subject
Surely, there had to be a reasonable explanation to that wasn't that Erina simply manifested a very fecund green thumb.

"The flowers are lovely, but they have no business being in front of our fire."
no subject
"Oh. Indeed not, those are quite the hazard..." Hmm. Well. He gets to work at pulling them free immediately then, even if it means leaving the embrace. "I'll simply clear these as quick as possible so that we can have our breakfast in that case, how is that?"
no subject
"I'm sorry to have roused you earlier than anticipated," Erina murmurs softly as she returns the kettle to its rightful place before she helps him clear the area. "I just cannot imagine what was done to cause all of this plant growth."
no subject
Oh! He's pulling out all the stops today isn't he!
no subject
"Actually." She turns to face her husband, tilting her head at him. "Didn't you once touch a branch and make it bloom early?"

She hummed softly as she returned with their breakfast for the morning (significantly more for Jonathan than herself, just by account of sheer bulk of her husband). "So I had thought maybe it was that, but. I... don't do such a thing. It must be a strange fluke."
no subject
"...What?" Hold on. "...You think you just used hamon? ...But that should typically be impossible for anyone here shouldn't it? ...For that matter, if you were to be using hamon now, why would it be that my own hasn't given so much as a spark?"
He sounds far more confused than upset- actually he's not upset at all. If Erina is using hamon, that's super neat!! That's really cool!! ...But also this is very confusing.
no subject
Or won't.
Their pokemon children might hear!More importantly, "How do I make it... not... do this?"

Fairly certain now that their breakfast and tea were not going to be horribly upset (or burnt because of errant plant growth), Erina kept her eyes on that as she spoke. "Father would've had quite a time figuring this all out." Magic breathing or not, it was quite an odd sensation.

The sun is far more than merely warm, Jonathan!
