"Oh, I dunno." Zed shrugs with the air of a man who doesn't worry about such things. "It just kind of showed up here when I did, I guess."

Necrozma is staring right back and kind of waiting to see what happens here.

"Ah, I see. I'm just curious. It's been a while since I saw the Radiant One and it was maybe, half a year ago?" said Ash, venturing about the conversation carefully in case Necrozma remembered him and Pikachu.

Zed turns to Necrozma. "Oi, you're the Radiant One? I thought you said you needed light!"

Necrozma gives Zed a fairly expressive shrug. "Ozzzzz." Fortunately for everyone involved, it doesn't appear to remember Ash and Pikachu.

"Well, you don't hear anyone calling me the Emperor of Light, do you?" Zed continues to seem unimpressed with the Pokemon. "And you got a terrible memory for faces, not knowing this kid."

Ash relaxed a little. "It's okay, it's been a while since we've met, and to be fair, he was a little upset when we did meet."

Walking up to Necrozma, he smiled and held out his hand, a Star Candy in his hand. "Here."

Necrozma grunts a thanks and delicately reaches out to take the Star Candy.

"What, no candy for me?" Look, Zed's feeling left out here.
