We're trying to retake territory lost to us several years ago. We've run into more opposition than we anticipated.

Armin and Jean are in a safer area, though. They're not in the cavalry charge.

You sound like a good friend to them. You shouldn't take what I have to say much to heart; I'm almost positive I die in this battle, along with most of my other soldiers. However, I've spoken to Kirstein, and he, at least, is old enough that he has to have survived it.
