[Pidge stares.] [And stares.] [And then abruptly bursts out laughing. Sorry, Shiro. Your scissors will have to wait until she's done.]

[His expression flattens. And in true Shiro fashion, he turns around. Turns around to walk right back out the door again. Maybe he'll end up falling into a crater on Mt. Moon or something if he does.]

Yep. Keep laughing... Go right on.

N-No-- Don't go, come back--!! [Her fit of giggles is absolutely not helping her cause to stop Shiro before he leaves. She's struggling just to get up off the bed because she keeps having to wipe at her face in an attempt to stop laughing.] S-Sorry, just-- You're-- You l-look like a prince or something!

[He's halfway out the door before he answers. His voice echoing down the hall. With a suspicious little jingle of a Meowth collar following...]

[She goes half-stumbling after him, still racked with giggles.]

It's so regal! You should keep it and f-flick it over your shoulder when you feel sassy!

Still getting some scissors, Pidge!

[Which means no, no sassy hair flipping. No "regal". He's going to sit on it and then fall over, he knows it.]

[Or Luna is going to use it as a cat toy. Which she is absolutely trying to do as she follows along.]

[Pidge is practically bouncing along after him, watching Luna with a grin on her face.]

No! [Luna is getting determined to get the tip of that hair so help her Arceus.]

[So help her, Pidge will pick Luna up so she can reach that hair better if no one stops her.] Hide the scissors, Haunter! Just come look at your dad! [Is Haunter even in the house right now? She has no idea but she wouldn't be surprised.]

[This is... the biggest shrug in the history of shrugs.]

At this point? I just kind of... do it.

[And now she's going to start circling Shiro, a contemplative look on her face.]

I guess that makes sense, since it was hardwired more or less directly into your neural network. A single thought in your arm's direction just triggers it. So... maybe shifting is similar! Try just picturing yourself bigger or smaller or more purple or something, and we'll go from there.

[He looks around for a moment, then down at where Luna is happily rolling around his feet.]

We're not doing this in the house, either. [In case something goes horribly wrong.] Outside.

[He just... sighs. And falls into step behind her.]
