ii - boys and girls of every age.... [ video ]
[ What's up, network? When the video turns on, there's Mira, looking... lowkey nervous. Huh. It's probably because it's night, and she's hanging out in the Burned Tower. Look, she usually isn't so cavalier, but the place has history. She can't pass up the chance to check it up.
(She can, but that's not important. It's fine.)
Regardless, she glances over her shoulder as something makes a sound. She scans the area before she turns back to the feed with a nervous smile. ]
So... I'd ask if anyone's been here before, but I'm sure I'm far from the first. It's kind of fascinating--[ Spookiness aside.
Something makes a noise again, and her forced smile becomes even more forced. And she lets out a nervous laugh. ]
Though, I'm-- there aren't... ghosts in here, right?
[ Probably no one should tell her about the Mimikyu that's staring at her intently. Or maybe they should. ]

VIDEO
[BEHOLD: The worst person to share this answer.
He is surrounded by them. He is sitting on his Haunter. His gengar, being a menace again, floats around in the background. Decidueye is also there, though technically he looks more like a concerningly large owl.
Regardless, there's Ghosts.] They exist, but I wouldn't call them real 'ghosts'...they can have eggs and reproduce, so that means they're living things right?
[Emporio this is POKEMON land,]

It takes her a moment for her to register that they are, in fact, ghosts, but-- these are probably different?
She still gets a shiver or two, but like. It's fine. ]
Ah... they really can have eggs?
[ What in the hell. ]
no subject
[Imagine it. Ghost eggs.] Even the ones that look like cats, or dogs...
no subject
Ah-- I... suppose that's a thing I need to get used to, especially being a breeder...
[ It's weird but like, she's... dealt with weirder? Somehow? ]
no subject
Probably...if it makes it help even more, a lot of ghost types can breed with different types and make eggs too! That's probably even more proof, right?
[He decides not to mention that this is also a world where wailord and skitty are compatible,]
Video;
Ghost pokemon? Yes, there will probably be plenty of those. But they aren't so bad. Most of them aren't, at least.
[There is always an exception or two.]
Ghosts of deceased humans doomed to haunt the building for eternity, looking to drag others into a hellish afterlife with them? Not so much.
no subject
Ah... I just had a feeling there might be human ghosts here, since...
[ She gestures all around her. ]
But it's a relief there aren't. I suppose ghost pokemon seem less terrifying than human ghosts.

Granted, there are a lot of scary tales about them too, even in the pokedex, but not even half of that stuff seems true. At least, not if you apply some logic to it.
no subject
[ For a moment that spooks her, but-- ]
Ah, more like... urban legends, then.

[It's said so calmly-]
There's Ghost Pokemon, which are pretty similar to the concept of real ghosts, only they actually are real and in some circumstances are ghosts of people themselves. According to the Pokedex at least.
[Oh shit that's A Mimikyu]
In fact, if you turn around slowly and stay calm, you should see one of them right now! I've actually got a Mimikyu, they can be very sweet.
no subject
And she turns to see the lil guy. ]
... That's a ghost?
[ It sure doesn't look like a-- oh, there it goes, darting behind a crumbling structure. ]
no subject
That's just one type of ghost. They're actually quite sweet, as long as you leave their little costumes alone.
[Behind Jane, another Mimikyu with a ribbon barrette inches into view, one of its little paws reaching out towards...some boxed raisins on the kitchen counter.
Huh.]
no subject
Their costumes, mm? [ She glances over her shoulder, and the Mimikyu peeks out at her. ] Well, I don't think that should be much of an issue... They're very cute.
... Very shy, though, it seems.
no subject
[The one in Jane's background now fiddles with the box of raisins, pops it open, and puts it down to take one at a time out of the box and pull it under its costume.
It's silly.]
They're also not too keen on Pikachu, despite dressing like them.
