Video; February 8th
[ The video opens up on a startling array of shiny Pokémon. While many others suffered at the hands of the snorunts, Hythlodaeus has come away with an excellent boon without quite realizing the cause. There's really a lot here-- The camera pans around the overstuffed living room with babies abound. There are no fewer of 15 of the critters milling about, playing with one another, and causing minor furniture damage. There's a few ponyta, some little honedge, applin, salandits, an eevee, a stunky, a ditto, some noibats... There's more than that but the camera comes back quickly to rest on his face. He seems a bit tired, though it's hard to tell if he just always looks like that. He tucks a piece of hair behind his ear and smiles.]
I thought these ones were meant to be rare. Nearly every other clutch I've had has had at least one. Well, that is not quite true. The eevee line produced such small clutches of eggs!
[ He laughs gently before taking a seat on the floor. The camera must be rotom controlled with how it moves. He pulls out a ledger and unsheathes the pencil tethered to the spine, tapping it a couple times before he addresses the camera again. ]
I am in a position to... conduct a couple trades, let us say. Perhaps even accept a few names on a waiting list. I am open to much at this moment, so please do contact me with your offers and ideas. I am currently residing in Goldenrod... Though I will be settling into a plot of spacious land sooner than later before I drive my housemates entirely insane. ...I do have quite a few available pups as well.

Ah, I think we talked earlier about that shiny Sandygast?
But really, congratulations. That's seriously impressive, Hythlo.

[ Hythlodaeus looks around the room until he spots the little pile of black sand halfway under a chair.]
Ah, but of course! The little castle is all yours. I have been unable to tempt it with so much as a slowpoke tail! I read they like to sit upon bones, yet I would prefer to head this little issue off.
Perhaps if we ran a battery current through it?

[He's beaming at the little pile of sand.]
... the Sandygast or the Slowpoke tail? I suppose at worst, I could save chicken or fish bones from supper for it.

action;
Really. Must you release the lot of them within our living room? Are you not cramped enough as it is? Or do you relish in making these creatures suffer your own perpetual circumstance?
[He notices the gear, squinting at it as he watches to make sure Hythlodaeus doesn't try to get him into the view. After all, he's wearing little more than a particularly fluffy house robe, though one longer than his usual. It's chilly!]
Surely simple photographs would have sufficed.
action;
Surely! Yet I'm sure that no sooner than I would post those images that I would find advertisements on Crustlist baiting foolish would-be patrons. Team Rocket is ever afoot, and we must be careful.
[ Hythlodaeus captures his rotom phone in hand and tucks it into his hoodie pocket. Is it off? Who knows! ]
action;
Indeed.
[He's silent then, as he walks past the little creatures milling about, careful not to step on them, but not so careful as to keep from nudging them out of his way as he goes to make himself some coffee.]
So, what are your plans? To sell the lot—or is this a charity?

[He had been thinking about something like this, though he had figured it would be too much of a long shot. But now the opportunity presents itself to him quite by surprise. It is a little early, but... birthday presents can be given a little early too, right?]
I could either pay or trade against an egg, if you'd be interested in the offspring of one of my own pokemon.
Video;
[ He has plans for the Eevee, but he figures with vague enough wording everyone can end up with what they want, eventually. He picks up the little creature into one massive hand.
It squirms a little there in his hand with its eyes closed in fitful sleep. It's so very small... It must be the freshest hatch. ]
Oh, I certainly am. I have a few blanks to fill in for my stable to be fully functional. So... What might you have at your disposal?

[Which is a word she and her friends (back home) use that means cool.]
Uh, if there's anything you've got an extra of, I'd be happy to trade? I've got some things with hidden abilities. Feebases, a Swirlix, Rockruffs, and, uh, a bunch of Azurills that know all kinds of moves? The hidden ability for Azurill is super good, because it absorbs grass attacks and they're water pokemon.
Re: video
My! An interesting little roster. Certainly we could conduct ourselves a trade. You're a breeder yourself, then? I can't say I've met many others so far, but I do get wrapped up in my own little projects now and again. I have a new project that will require a few pairs of hands...

Would I be wrong to assume you are also a breeder? Seems you've a knack for those off-colored monsters, I have one myself—
[As if on cue, a shiny Runerigus peers over Thanatos' shoulder into the feed, earning it a sidelong glance from its trainer. It takes only a moment for the ghost to settle and stop crowding Thanatos, and likewise he resumes his sentence.]
...As I was saying, perhaps we could arrange something. From what I understand, I am not too terribly far from Goldenrod, but I am traveling at the moment and my companion isn't the most...orderly.
video;
You would not be wrong at all.
[ His gaze shifts to the Runerigus momentarily. ]
I've spotted that creature in a book before... Now where did I... [ It clicks. ]
Where did you happen upon your odd colored creature? [ He grind a little wider. He senses a touch of tension and can't help but poke. ]
... Is that so! Where might you be, if you know?

[Scorpia calms down after the first outburst and looks a little sheepish.]
How much do you want? Um, not for the shiny ones. Every Pokemon is super cute, rare colors or not! Or...
[The sheepishness morphs into an awkward smile.]
I have some eggs left from when my friends all decided to have babies at once. I wanted to hatch them all but-- [She coughs.] Anyway, maybe we could trade? If I've got a kind of Pokemon you want!

They are precious, aren't they? I do have a few empty spots in my ledger... What sorts of creatures do you have? In egg or otherwise-- We may very well be able to conduct a trade.

What about the one that looks like an apple? [Wait, hold on. This guy is a stranger and Sasha remembers she needs to be polite. Overly polite.] I mean, good afternoon, sir. I hope you are doing well and that the weather is nice where you are.
[And now back to the important stuff:]
What about the one that looks like an apple?
» video
[ Oh, he likes her. ]
The apple one- It is a little dragon that lives inside of an apple until it incorporates it into its body. Have you seen it before?
video
They certainly look energetic.

[ He folds his hands and smiles softly. ]
What sort of good or service might you provide?

Should you wish to increase that impressive number, I myself am en route back to our residence. I recall you had wished to use my Pokémon in your endeavors, the Eevee line in particular from your words. Is that something you still desire?
[He huffs, affectionate.]
I should much like to share your company again, besides. I tire of this swan dogging my steps, and long for the taste of your cooking.
