[The video opens on a nice little beach towards the sunset hours. A large red Gyarados is laying with his head in the surf, enjoying some good rubs to his crest from Armin, who addresses the camera without taking his eyes off the big lug on the sand.]

I spent a lot of time reading the Pokedex when I first arrived here, but the longer I am here and the more research I do, the more I realise there are a lot of falsehoods in the Pokedex as well. Or at least, a lot of uncorroborated information. Which, unfortunately, seems to lead to some pokemon having a very undeserved reputation.

Take Gyarados, for example.

[He gestures with his arm to the Gyarados laying on the sand, who lets out a low rumble of enjoyment.]

All the Pokedex talks about is how vicious and destructive they are, and how they go on constant rampages.

Now, I won't deny that they can be dangerous and territorial in the wild, but I don't think it is right to portray them as mindless rampaging monsters either. They behave that way for a reason and each has their own personality. They can make perfectly fine pokemon, as long as they are handled by an experienced trainer.

[In fact, Armin got some theories about how their bad reputation really is the result of being handled by a few too many inexperienced trainers.]

I'm not sure how to go about submitting corrections to the Pokedex, but until I figure that out, I wanted to ask: are there any pokemon you care about that you feel have a very undeserved reputation? Or any other false information in the Pokedex that you know about?

[Armin can't research every pokemon as much as he'd like. But perhaps other people can help him correct any misconceptions he might have.]

I mean, yeah, I'm strong! I'm the muscle; it's kinda my thing! But I'm not a lot stronger than other people! I can't beat She-Ra in a test of strength, so yeah. I mean, she wipes the floor with everybody, and I get close sometimes but I can't ever eek that win out, you know? So I'm not... that strong. Really!

[As she's talking it seems to dawn on her that maybe she's stronger than she thinks she is and help please being outstanding at things does not compute.]

I mean. I'm not. I'm not, right? I'm just the muscle. If I was, like, super amazing strong, people would say that, right? Wow, Scorpia you're super amazing strong! But they don’t?

[We apologize for this derailment into Scorpia’s self-worth issues.]

[Oh shit, Self-Worth Issues. Very much same hat, even if Armin's are completely the opposite.]

Well, uhm, do you know how much you can lift? That could help compare things.

Um, I can pick up our largest crates of ammunitions and things without trouble? They're heavy, but you know. I get called in to lift those whenever I'm around, pretty much. I might have accidentally picked up Rogelio once with one? Man, that was a bad day though; my thoughts were chasing all over the place. They were unloading and I accidentally loaded instead. I don't blame Lonnie for getting upset.

[And then she left. Scorpia really hopes Lonnie and the others are okay. They were getting out themselves, but so much has happened since then...

She has no idea that picking up any person with a heavy crate is probably an unusual display of strength. Much less a lizard-dude that's bigger than she is.]

[Yeaaah, that's. No, Armin is pretty certain picking up huge heavy crates is not exactly a standard human skill. The only person he's ever seen that can do it is Mikasa.

Still, a crate is a bit of a nebulous concept. And what sort of ammunition is she talking about? Bullets? Canonballs? So perhaps--]

That sounds incredibly strong to me.

Could you lift your Bewear?

[He can look up the weight of those on his pokedex, which should give him a better indication of exactly how strong she is.]

[Scorpia nods along.] Oh yeah, I can lift one for a while. I mean, I don't do that often, but twirling hugs are great and we can all lift each other as a group!

[After a moment.] I have four, if that helps?

[Armin looks a good mixture of surprised and impressed.]

That's definitely a lot more than the average person can lift. Honestly, you might be close to how strong Mikasa is.

Oh. Huh.

[Scorpia needs a while to consider this. She doesn't like what her conclusion is.]

Oh shoot. So I've been telling people hugging Bewears is perfectly fine when I should have been adding that they need to tell the Bewears to be gentle first! I hope nobody got squeezed too tight...
