I've been wondering about that too, actually. My name was inspired by an ancestor of mine, Claudia von Riegan...and I've met a Claudia here. Not too weird on the face of it, but isn't it strange that completely different worlds would have the same kinds of names?
Then again, I haven't heard any names similar to the names from my homeland. Only names such as you might find in one specific continent from back home. So it seems like localized similarity...
It definitely feels as though at least certain languages from our worlds have common ancestors. You'd think that would be impossible, though. And then it raises the question of why some languages seem to be held in common, but others don't...although maybe my first language does have similarities to other languages from your world. But unless you know a lot of languages, we may not be able to compare notes about that...
