[Here's Zuke! He just snapped on the video feed with what looked like a pair of glowing drumsticks in his hand.

While his face was still calm, there was a real gleam in his eye. He's literally so excited about these drumsticks. He was like a little kid, almost. Okay, well, he's being a cheeky dork.]

Whoa, okay okay...I just, I gotta share these. Check them out! Jaskier got me this killer set for my birthday and-

[A pink blob, May the Toxel, seemed to hop on his lap to try and snag the sticks in her claws. They were glowing so pretty, and she seemed to giggle at the game she made up of trying to get them and play.]

Hey, hey careful there, May. I-!

[A lone lady Mudbray, with a blue bow in her hair, decided she wanting in and tried to get the sticks in her mouth.]

Tabla? C'mon, girl, down-! Haha!

[DAD THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE PRETTY! But Zuke wasn't at all mad, really. In fact, he was laughing heartily at the events.

It's his birthday.]

[After his visceral baby murder attempt (not really, they were all playing), he was quick to get over his giggle fit. He still held on to his drumsticks with his dear life.]

D-Drumsticks!

[He was still giggling, a little. Happy as a clam still.]

They're brand new drumsticks that glow. Haven't had a pair like these in so long.

[Well they do look like a fun toy, Kayo just isn't used to someone who looks like an adult wanting light up toys.]

Currently, I'm just a travelling musician with more than a few little buddies.

Do most drummers like light up sticks?

Uwoah~ Those would look really cool up on a stage! Or in the dark!

You think? Now all I need is a dark stage, or it being nighttime in the woods, haha.

You could make a whole bit out of it! There's a group in my world, four percussionists that paint themselves blue and act like aliens-- they're really popular, and they do all that glow-in-the-dark black light stuff that's really fun to watch. It's a whole thing!

So, uh, four guys who act like blue aliens and play percussion?

[He scratched his head with his sticks, apparently trying to work out some math problems.]

It sounds super weird, but they make it work. They act all surprised and interested with all the stuff they use as instruments, so there's a humor bit to it too.

I mean I’m used to gimmick shows.

[He put a finger on his chin, sticks on his other hand.]

People who genuinely love their art and have fun with it? That’s something I love seeing in the industry. Make it show everyone can be a part of, y’know. People engage well when a lot is happening.

Exactly! I mean, I work in mostly classical and orchestral scenes, but some of that crowd is really stuffy. Sometimes I feel a little out of place... But every time I'm able to get someone to enjoy something they thought they didn't like, or had a bad opinion about, that's the best. So I keep doing it!

[Mock greaser accent with that remark, in good clean fun of course.]

I think adapting is natural, opens up for new ideas. I think the worst thing an artist can do is stay the same formula. Then you're not living up to what you can really do potentially.

[At first, Jaskier is worried about what may be happening to the sticks, but it's hard not to laugh along with Zuke. Besides, Tabla being there as well makes it extra funny: leave it to Geralt's grandhorse to try to stop the music!]
