[ CLOSED ] belated birthday plans
Who: Jinx & Razor
What: After a few weeks of Goin Thru It, Jinx and Razor are finally acting on some birthday plans to go exploring!
When: Backdated to March 24th
Where: Ruins of Alph
[ Admittedly, Jinx isn't much of an outdoorsy type- but even she has to stop now and then and just be within the trees. And with the snow gone, she's handling the hike through the ruins much better than she's sure Razor has seen her. (She needs to find an actual gym and not a pokémon gym though- she's getting out of practice, and that's unacceptable.) Every now and then she'll even pause to take pictures on her Gear, of the scenery, of Razor, and of their pokemon.
At this point she's got Amalthea for sheer power- just in case- and then Cinna and Jasper with her- anything more felt a little like overkill, to be honest, since she's also looking to make some catches. Like... there's a ghost sword? How could she resist?
In her very handy bat-pack from Dimitri, she's gotten plenty of snacks and water bottles, as well as a couple thermoses of tea and... uh, the landlord kind of insisted they borrow their fishing rod when she told them that they were going exploring today, so. There's that? Along side human and pokemon-friendly first aid options, just in case. All in all, it looks like they're pretty set for the day, even if Jinx has no idea how the landlord got the fishingrod into the backpack to begin with. Fuckin' hammerspace.
There's open holes in different dirt walls all over, and she heard there were puzzles? Holy shit, puzzles. But Razor has experience here, so... ]

You're right... but a place to stay next time sounds perfect.

at razor's direction, however, jinx perks up immediately. puzzle? puzzle for jinx? careful not to touch the wall too early, she rushes over to check. cinna and jasper settle at their feet, while amalthea stays a bit farther behind- just in case anyone sneaky gets any ideas. )

On the other hand, Chalk, ever as curious as his namesake, on top of feeling quite at home here, approaches the wall with Jinx. He almost looks like a little human, resting his chin on his paw and sticking his tongue out thoughtfully.]

( thank goodness it's not a sliding block puzzle, she can't stand those. after a moment, jinx scoops up chalk to give him a better look, supporting him like a child on her hip almost. )

( and while the nerds are doing nerd things, amalthea is content to just chill with razor. cinna paces for a while, before curling up beside the group, and jasper scuttles about the walls and ceiling. whatever pokemon may be lingering around won't get the jump on them! ... except when he goes over to razor for pats. he's good scout, give pat? )
