[She's looking pretty sad again, so it's probably a good thing that the Skitty chooses this moment to lick Maria's cheek. Maria giggles.]

Okay! That should be enough...if we see anything between here and Viridian that you might want to catch, you should be able to this way. Otherwise...we can't buy anything like that until we reach Viridian, [he laughs quietly.] Though I think it's closer to Pallet than from here to Violet at least.

Maria will look! But I gots four Pokemon Furnitures, so that's pretty good to start, right?

I'm a little ways away from New Bark Town, but there's a big event coming up soon that everyone gets to go to. Maybe we can see each other then? [ Unless she gets to Violet somehow before then, but uh. She's like, 9. Hiking is a lot? ] There's a whole city between us right now, plus the roads there.

I've always wanted a big sister! A real one, not just a cousin like Jessica. Ange has a big brother, but I don't have a big anything!

A farm had a big festival at the end of winter, to celebrate its cows getting to return to the pasture. There was food, and games, and a race- all sorts of things. It was really fun! I'm sure they'll do it again.
