Action for New Bark Town

[It's a good thing Forever-and-a-Day Ranch left him a message about his missing babies, or else Dandy would be a lot more lost than he already is. He has his special girl Martini, sure, but he has a whole bunch of other special girls that make his life complete. The message at first didn't sound too bad, "Route 8" huh? Eight's a low number, how far can it be?

Oh. Kanto. A place he's never bothered with before. That's....cool. Oh, on the other side of the whole region, that's....even better. Fun.

But before he can even get started, Dandy has to board a ferry, and already this is proving too much to ask for.]

2000?! That's almost, like,....too much of my money!! [A grown ass man stands near the docks, stomping his foot and pulling his hair because that's incredibly mature.] This is bullshit, I don't even know what a Lavender Town is-

[Before his tantrum can continue, Martini tugs on his jacket with her mouth, prompting him to calm down enough to get on his knees and ruffle her head, a defeated sigh soon follows.]

Yeah yeah, forgive me, baby... Looks like we don't have much of a choice, but I would way rather chill in Goldenrod. ...Or those sweet islands again, we so deserve a sweet island vacation after this crap.

The truth is, back when he first appeared in this world, he was going it solo, at least until he hit the first town. The idea that people could be getting thrown in this mess at the same time just never crossed his mind, go figure.

Not wanting to look the fool, Dandy shoots up and turns around on his heel, combing his hair with his hand in a very practiced motion.]

[Martini isn't nearly as shy a partner and has no problems shuffling herself next to him, sniffing the air to get a good idea of who's interrupting them. She definitely smells another Pokemon, it'd be a real shame if someone...bit it.]

[It's unfortunate that Legosi wasn't slower traveling (and it already took him a week to make it to Cherrygrove) because if he were, he might have been able to meet up with some of the new arrivals for traveling purposes. Not that he minds being alone, but...the Prom reminded him just how lonely it can be when you have no one at all. Especially when you're a human-man with canine sensibilities still baked into you.

Anyway, Prom is over and everyone went home today (for better or worse depending on how that went), and now Legosi is tasked with deciding when to leave for the next city. Azaela is beyond Violet, which comes next, and he does want to speak to the gym leader Bugsy there...he might need to get going today if he wants to get there within the next century.

He's watching the network as he packs his bag when Dandy's post comes on, and...he has to lean back and away with how loud it comes through. He could just leave it be, but his well-meaning, meddling heart can't leave well enough alone. He switches his Gear on and sets it up angled towards himself sitting in Cherrygrove's center while Haru the Buneary and Juno the Poochyena help him pack.]
