I see no one answered with a similar experience, and mine is not quite the same as yours. But I also appear human, and was considered human back home, but had an extra...I suppose you could call it a 'mutation' as you described yours above to someone else.
Mine gave me an extra sense. I knew I relied on it before I arrived here, but to no longer have access to it is more disorienting than I anticipated. [ He'd definitely gotten used to effectively seeing through walls and sensing people coming close to him for the past...seven years. ]
No missing non-human limbs, though. Just the powers that the being I used to house granted. [ If he's inadvertently making it sound like he used to be possessed, that's...not horribly far from the truth? ]
