[When the feed turns on, it reveals Legosi- dressed in a new set of cooler attire for the summer (he...looks like a dad, actually, is he really 18), as he sits on a train. The Magnet Train that goes between Goldenrod and Saffron, to be exact...he'd seen some advertisements for it while working some shifts at one of the local eateries in the city, and figured well...he's spent the whole month in Goldenrod, so why not take a little trip with his Pokemon? He's been feeling admittedly lonely since that strange weekend, and he's tired of moping about it.
So here he is on the way to Kanto with his Buneary Haru and Scorbunny Kaen sitting in his lap happily munching on some Pokemon treats provided by the dining on the train. But he looks distracted, his attention out the window as if he'd forgotten he turned the camera on himself.]
...is it...difficult, to find a house in this world? Expensive?
[He lapses into silence for a moment...clearly daydreaming even as he speaks, his voice lapsing into a sort of gentle murmur.]
Somewhere with room for a garden...

Depends. Managed to get a place in Azalea for kinda cheap. If you don't mind the small space inside, I managed to grow a berry and herb garden outside.

I don't need much space for myself. I would prefer having a bit more space outside, if possible...not just for a garden, but for my Pokemon as well.

[A soft smile.]
I'm sure everyone's gonna give you suggestions but this unit I live in has another vacant room. If you don't mind living in a slightly older building.

I lived in a very small apartment in a complex back home...but it was mostly because it was the best I could afford.
[Things are different, here. His income is a lot steadier, and oftentimes more than usual thanks to how much you can make simply by battling.]
You said you lived in...Azalea, right?

video;
There do seem to be a lot of places with lots of space outdoors, so that should be manageable for you... I guess it may be more, uh, standard to make sure most housing has yard space here, since so many people have Pokemon.
no subject
[If Haru came back...he'd of course want her to live with him.]
I am glad to hear that about outdoor space. I really don't need much myself, so long as there is enough room for my Pokemon to be comfortable.
[Which is saying a lot, given how big of a guy he is.]
no subject
Oh, yeah, a lot of these places seem to really be made with Pokemon in mind - every house my group looked at had some kind of customization in place to account for Pokemon, though most were geared toward a specific type. But it's safe to say you should have a fair few options, as far as places with space for Pokemon to run around go.
no subject
[He wants a space for Kaze and Mizu to enjoy, after all!]
And, well...should I happen to make friends with someone who is in desperate need of a place to stay, I can't see myself turning that down if they were interested in renting.

Now of course, this does come from establishing a small amount of income as a pokemon breeder, but even so- having spoken to Erina I can assure you that the process of even building a home is far, far easier than it was in our actual world! There have been no cut corners either, [he hums, and he seems to be sitting in a sort of greenhouse/sunroom as he explains this.]

Building a home...so yours was built custom, then?

You aren't worried about that system malfunctioning, somehow?
[He can't imagine what he'd do if his whole house just sank suddenly into the lake it was built on.]

I imagine if we were a smaller group, we would have had even more choices to choose from in terms of rental properties.
If you ever decide to settle in Olivine, I am certain we could recommend a fine realtor to you.
no subject
Well, that's probably too personal to ask. It's fine.]
Olivine...do you like living there?
no subject
Yes, we do. It is a pleasant town, especially if one likes the smell of the sea. We arrived in spring, but I imagine it is the kind of town that is always warm to some degree. That does well for some of us.
[Sure, Dimitri will die in heat, but warm weather means no snowstorms means no Sylvain suffering from terrible memories.]
The people are kind here as well, and being so close to the farms makes certain products easily affordable.
no subject
[He kindof likes the idea of living near the sea, even if he's never had any reason to go there. Having recently made close friends with a sea mammal has changed his perspective on that considerably, though. It's...nostalgic, now.
Plus, living near a farm would make it easier for him to find local groceries. Much less excessive eating out, which he does far too regularly now that he's living on his own.]
Are there a lot of wild Pokemon in town?

Honestly, speaking as someone originally from California, rent here is astoundingly cheap. I can't think that rental houses would be much different than apartments.
no subject
Really? They cost that little?
no subject
Yes. You can rent dinky little studio apartments here with a part time job and still have money leftover for the rest of your bills and even an occasional treat. Compared to what I'm used to, that's crazy cheap. Back home, you can't live without roommates on the strength of a part time job. Hell, you can't on the strength of a full time job if it pays minimum wage.
(no subject)
It's not too hard! And especially if you pick up a steady part-time job, it can be affordable. I'd suggest work at a Pokemon Center, they always pay well. A place with room for a garden shouldn't be hard to find in some of the smaller towns or cities...do you have an idea where you'd like to settle in?
no subject
[He's worked with them a little before; it was very nice and yes, did pay quite well.]
As for where, I am not entirely sure...someplace quiet I think. Maybe out in the country...or with a lot of wildflowers...
no subject
[Maybe Legosi could have one of those yards where everything grows wild.]
