[The screen shows Lust's apartment living room...full of playful Eeveelutions. There's ten in all, at least one of each type and thensome, filling the room and covering the furniture. Not entirely shocking, Lust has had her horde of Eeeveelutions for years.

But...there's three Eevee rolling about among them.]

I don't know where they came from...

[Lust's voice, tired and confused, is off camera.]

[Sasha frowns, deep in thought. Are there any DNA tests for Pokemon parentage? Not that she even knows what a DNA test is to begin with, but the question is still there.]

How long were you gone? If you left them alone long enough...

[When the trainers are away, the Eeveelutions will play.]

We were gone long enough. It's just very rare any of mine have eggs, it's only happened a few other times. And never the Eevees.

But I suppose it was only a matter of time, considering how many of them there are.

I guess Eevees go into heat? Not that I know of any Pokemon that do. Only regular animals. Maybe they do it when we're not around...

[If only she knew Pokemon as well as forest animals.]

But you can't leave them alone without a Pokesitter anymore. They're getting into trouble and I wish we could ask them which baby belongs to them. Are you going to keep them?

I'm not sure, I think they just...have eggs when they want to. And they never wanted to before now.

But it's not really a problem, just quite a shock to come home to. We're going to keep them, they're family. It would be cruel to separate them now. And luckily we're already in the market for a larger home.

Can't stop nature when it calls.

Oh, that's good. I mean, lots of people give their Pokemon away when they have too many. But then again, they're still eggs then, so maybe that's different.

[A pause.]

We? You and the Eevees?

Eggs are different, I've given out eggs on occasion. But once they've hatched...I'm not a breeder, it just doesn't feel right to me.

Oh, no, my husband and I. We'd already decided our apartment is too small, we both have substantial teams.

It feels like you're giving family away. I understand. I've never given any of mine away either.

[They're all she's got, this lonely young woman.]

Oh! Congratulations? I[t's a question because she doesn't know how long they've been married for. Do you still say it after a year? Six months? Fifty years?] Are you going to find somewhere on the mainland or islands?

Yes, exactly.

Thank you. We're going to stay in Ecruteak, we've been very happy here and my career is here. But we want somewhere with lots of space and big windows and a view of the sea.

Career? What's that?

[It's an unfamiliar word to Sasha, so she moves off screen to grab a piece of paper and a pencil to write it down. Phonetically. Kuh-rear.]

A career is a specialized job that one intends to do for a very long time. I'm a dancer, and I own a club here in Ecruteak and perform at some of the theaters.

[Pursing her lips, Sasha writes down that explanation: a job for a very long time. At least part of the explanation. It works for her.]

Oh, that makes sense. If you move away from your career, then you'll have to travel a lot back and forth and that leaves the Eevees home alone a lot again. Then more babies.

Something like that. It would be quite a hassle for many reasons.

Besides, Timothy and I like Ecruteak - Timothy is my husband.

Well, if you like Ecruteak, then yes, you and Mr. Timothy should stay there.

[Just so you know, Sasha is totally calling her Miss Lust in her head.]

And when you find a house big enough, I guess you can tell the Eevees to not making any more eggs unless they all want to share a room.

Exactly. We're discussing finding a house with large attic space, so they'd have a floor of their very own.

They used to spend a great deal of time in a furnished basement, when I lived in a house with a basement.

Why not somewhere with both an attic and basement?

[Sasha peers behind Lust with a squint.]

You might need the extra extra space.

We're looking at property near the coast, they don't often have basements. But it would be nice if we found one.

Why not? That sounds... strange. Where do people keep all their food for winter?

[Sasha, it's called the fridge and cabinets. No one needs a cellar in this day and age.]

Our house has a basement, but one of Mr. Shiro's friends lives down there. I think she has food down there, though.
