[We interrupt all of the folks who are busy solving riddles this evening with a broadcast from Ryner and Sion's backyard, where something peculiar is occuring.

Namely, a mess of Clefairies.

At least a dozen of them, all dancing in a neat little circle between the camera's vantage point and the pond (in which you might just be able to see, in the dim light, a small school of Magikarp watching them). The dance consists of similar amounts of spinning in place and turning in the circle, with all of them chanting "Clefa~iry, Clefa~iry" over and over.

One of the dancing Clefairies is wearing a rose ear clip, and looks like she is having the time of her life.

It just goes on like that for a few minutes, and then at the end of the broadcast Ryner just adds a brief comment.]

Looks like Rose is having fun, at least.

Might make it hard to sleep later, though, depending on how late they go...

Who would have thought Clefairies could be such party animals? And they usually look so well-behaved, too.

[Aware that such a claim demands retribution, Ash manages to dodge the pillow thrown from offscreen. Sorry for the shaky cam, Ryner!]

How long ago did they start? They have to get tired sooner or later.

[Clefairies and well behaved, huh. Ryner would comment on that, but knowing his luck Rose would hear him even from this distance.]

Ahh, a bunch of them started gathering just after sunset, but as for the actual dancing... about ten minutes ago, or so.

Definitely not ending for a few hours still, then. Not that I can blame them. I doubt they get the chance to gather in such large numbers often.

[The fable fable that follows from an unseen source sounds like it agrees.]

Yeah, you don't see them too often, especially not in large groups like this.

[which makes it noteworthy how coordinated they all are, but who knows, that could mean a lot of things]

I guess it's good for Rose, getting to interact with other Clefairies like this sometimes.

Maybe you should catch a few more to keep her company. Wouldn't it be nice to travel with a dancing troupe? Sure, you'd never get to sleep at night again, but it's a small price to pay.

[It's funny how Ash isn't volunteering to adopt them himself...]

I dunno, if she wanted more around all the time, you'd think she'd have made sure I know it by now... Or kept some of her own eggs around.

What are they dancing for?

Not sure. I'd guess it's probably for fun or some sort of celebration, considering they definitely didn't have much time to coordinate it, but I can't completely rule out some sort of ceremony or ritual.

Maybe it's something they're born with? Like how butterflies know where to fly each year and things like that.

Is Rose one of those [He paused to try and remember the term used.] pokemon?

Ahh, could be something like that.

Yeah, she's one of the Clefairies dancing down there. Not sure if it's easy to see from here for you, but she's the one with the rose clip.

[Clefaries. Yuuri watched them dance on the feed with awe and appreciation. He was amazed that they could do such a pretty display and the fact that this boy's pokemon, Rose, had joined them made him feel happy.

Looking to see the one with the rose clip, Yuuri eventually caught sight of her.]

She looks like she's having fun. Can you join in with them?

Nah, probably not. I'd probably spook them into running away, and then Rose would get mad at me. Besides, just watching is pretty cool.

[The awkward camera angle may give away that this particular responder still isn't very good with the Gear, but... he's an older guy, who can really blame him.

He is also, frankly, fascinated by what he's seeing.]

Is this a common behavior?

[Ryner took a while to get used to camera angles too, back when he was first starting out, so he gets it.]

Not really. You usually don't see this many Clefairies in one place. Even finding one in the wild is pretty rare, let alone a group.

Incredible. It must be exciting for yours, then, to see so many of her own kind... no wonder they would want to dance.

...Though I do hope, for your sake, that the novelty wears off for them before you must rest.

Ahh, well, worst case, if it gets too late, I'll figure something out... The real thing I'm worried about is, if she finishes up and finds that I'm asleep already, she'll probably get mad at me...

Her name is Rose? What a perfectly fitting name!

And what a wonderful sight...I've only seen them dance like that at Mount Moon!

Yeah, that's her name. And she's always seemed to like it, so I guess I did okay when I suggested it.

You don't really see Clefairies outside Mount Moon that often to begin with. Especially not this many.

It's my name, too! She looks like a very sweet Pokemon.

You know, that's true! I don't think I've seen wild ones anywhere else. I wonder why that is...

Ah, it is? That's a neat coincidence.

My guess is it's just the best habitat for them that they've found. And it's got some good views of the moon in places, so that could be something they like.

And we're both pink!

It does have the best views of the moon! I've stayed there a few times now, we always time it so we're there for the full moon. It's such a beautiful place. Last time, Greg got to play his guitar for the Clefairy!

That's true. I guess it fits both of you pretty well that way, huh.
