[Video]
[The video opens with a rather flustered looking Speedwagon, which in reality means his hair looks more a mess than usual but at least he's wearing something less than his normal layers. If you count a half-buttoned and sleeves rolled up white dress shirt and slacks as less than normal.
Either way, he's casually sitting next to what seems to be... well, that's some sort of Rocket grunt that has something stuffed in their mouth (fabric, at least) with a tie wrapped around their wrists and a far too amused salazzle with claws dug into at least the fabric of the poor bastard's legs. They're going nowhere.]
You know, I thought that this would become something far more mundane and akin to what I was used to back home. But instead it's become an utter annoyance of an at least once a day type of thing. You would think they would learn, but evidently not. [He huffs softly to himself as he moves to stand, using one hand to hold the 'gear and the other to wipe his slacks clean and fix his hat.]
At least Candalera seems quite keen on causing them pain, but I wouldn't expect any less from her at this point. Now, would anyone happen to have any suggestions on... some sort of warning system? I don't mind if they think it's funny to try and get the jump on me going into town, but coming close to the house...
Well, let's say it's better for everyone involved if I catch them before someone like, say, Jonathan does.

[oh no]

I thought I had mentioned that they think it's funny to try and come after me? Though I suppose now you know the caliber I'm dealing with.

Speedwagon you truly needn't worry about us! We shall fend them off with ease!
[That is probably what Speedwagon fears though-]
no subject
That is all, yes.
Though that hardly will be necessary, Jonathan. It'd be better for me to deal with it anyway, as I was the one that caused it in the first place, right? [Please don't.]
no subject
no subject
Meaning it wouldn't be necessary. Truly, even Candalera could handle it on her own.
no subject
[He appears genuinely baffled by this though, but also-] Even still, it would be remiss of myself to not offer assistance to lighten such a workload!
[Jonathan please.]
video;
[He doesn't wonder, he knows.]
How fortunate you are well able to take care of yourself, otherwise one might be worried.
video;
Not like I made it much of a secret why that is. [He has nothing to really lose at this point, after all. The jail system here is child's play, the law enforcement is pathetic, and the whole Rocket thing is even more pathetic.]
If I can survive bloody London's attempts at catching and murdering me, this certainly doesn't stand much of a chance. While they're free to come after me, I'd prefer they leave mine out of it. [And he does certainly hope he doesn't get any bright ideas, he's really not worth anything to the admins, anyway.]
But I'll take amateur hour here gladly.
video;
[He has no interest is pursuing Speedwagon, and he's certain none of the other offworlder Rockets have that interest either.]
Perhaps ere long they too will grow bored with their repeated failure. We can only hope, eh?
video;
Oh, I know full well that these are merely meant to be annoyances than anything else. Which is rather petty and pathetic in its own right, isn't it?
And one can only hope, though I doubt at least Candalera would be too upset at sinking her teeth into a few more. [And it's actually fairly hilarious, if he's being honest.]
video
How close were they to the house?
video
Mmm. I'd say still a good ten minute walk or so? That's the closest I've seen them get thus far. Usually we catch them sooner.

{IT IS NOT FINE AND YOU KNOW IT, ROBERT.}
no subject
Hence why I'm asking about alarm systems, Erina.
no subject
It is a concern, plans or not. I will bring the pokemon in today just in case any more of those cads lurk nearby.
no subject
My own are still wandering other than the other two, I believe we'll be perfectly fine. Candalera spotted this one far before I did. [And that poor fuck will probably be losing a leg to poison later, but details.]
no subject
Please do not mangle him overmuch; she's being very generous with that biting.
[Why, no, she doesn't like the look of that bite that she can see.]
And come home quickly, I imagine we'll want to talk about all of this and make an informed decision.
no subject
I'm certain they're much like anyone else here and won't remain permanently deceased. [Oops. He does, in fact, know that Candalera is not going to let him go without some kind of poisoning. It's fine.]
I will, I will. Just need to finish up here first and pick something up from town, that had been the plan before now.
I have been using the wrong journal this whole time. orz
[Her expression softens just a little bit.]
Do be safe getting home, mm?
I HAD BEEN WONDERING... lmfao
I'll be fine and won't be long, I promise you that.
no subject
[she smiles a little.]
I'll have a nice hot cup of tea waiting for your return.
no subject
[It's useful.]
I do appreciate it. And we'll... figure out some sort of system, hopefully.
no subject
[Narancia has apparently not been told about Speedwagon’s departure from Team Rocket.]
no subject
Long story short, is that they're quite miffed if someone leaves their ranks. [Candalera may or may not be sinking her teeth into this poor guy's shoulder now. Don't ask, it's fine. Probably.]
no subject
Oof, how long have they been doing that? [Narancia visibly winces as Candalera bites into the grunt. Should he mention what's going on there?]
no subject
Mm? Going after me? For... a bit at this point. Though I may have made it worse by publicly challenging them on these videos as well as doing so in Goldenrod. But it's hardly much more than an annoyance.
It's been nothing but these native grunts, meaning they're hardly worth the effort.
no subject
[That's a bold move indeed! Narancia can't help but be impressed by the idea of someone not only deciding to leave a gang, but also challenging them as well.]
Good luck dealing with them though, even if they keep sending normal grunts!
video
You're lucky Team Rocket is so bad at their job.
[He's alone in the room he's currently staying in; the door is closed. It seems this is a relatively private conversation.]
Video, private
I'd rather deal with this trash than take orders from the incompetent. But, if you wish to continue being under their boot and act like a sniveling low-ranked criminal, then that is on you. I regret nothing of my leaving and I certainly would think others would think the same.
But I suppose some are meant to be the type.
no subject
Fine by them.]
The current management seems way too hands-off, I'll give you that. If that's your issue, I can't even blame you.
no subject
The incompetency along with the fact I had given up the criminal lifestyle before arriving here are my issues, yes. I have no intentions on giving up anyone's identity to anyone else, though the natives are fair game.
no subject
You gave it up? So you would have defected anyway?
[It almost seems like a little bit of that menacing aura has faded into the background...]
