Happy Spooky Month, guys.

Since the water park bash, I was doing a lot of stuff in Kanto but I think my band and I are going to hang around Johto a bit more this month. If you guys wanna stop by, I'm gonna be playing in Goldenrod and Blackthorn. But then we're gonna round it up and come back to Saffron and then Lavender Town for Halloween.

Hope to see you guys there. I'm all for making it all Halloween themed too. Out of everyone, May wants to dress up. So hey, feel free to show up in costume, it'll be a blast.

The contest made me feel like theatrics aren't a bad thing if it means something.

That out of the way, fall kinda makes me miss the Mid Autumn Festival so I uh...made a lot of mooncakes. I have so many. Mooncakes.

I don't know what Halloween is, but if it's reason to put on a concert, I'm all for it! Let's see, if I don't spend long in towns, I might make it to Saffron City sometime this month... [Because of course Gobo, explorer that he is, spent most of his ferry ride to Pallet Town studying the Kanto map.] That might be a stretch, though. Darn!

Doesn’t surprise me. I know many people are from all over the place. I was honestly shocked this place DID celebrate it. It’s basically a holiday where there’s spooky things and you get to dress up, if you want the diet version. But it’s a lot of fun.

Don’t fuss about making it if you can’t. Everyone is busy after all.

I'm all for fun holidays! But is it that you get to dress up like in costumes, or do you dress up in fancy stuff?

Well, yeah, I'd just really love to hear some live music. It's been such a long time, and I'm used to being around it pretty much all day.

My family liked celebrating the Mid Autumn festival with my friends and neighbors and they used to make everyone the best ever.

Happy spooky month indeed! I wouldn't have thought such a holiday was so common across such many a realm, especially since most travelers don't even believe in ghosts! It's been such a pleasant surprise, I look forward to what the celebrations will be like and to play my instruments during it without any frowning faces.

Of course theatrics aren't a bad thing, my friend! How could you even think anything negative about them! I cannot wait to see your show - we're staying in Kanto this month, so unless another temple decides to raise from the depths of the ocean, I believe I'll be able to watch you live this time around. Lavender Town does match the theme of the holidays, I must congratulate you on your choice. Do you have any ideas for your costume yet?

Well no one has any excuse now because there’s Ghost Pokemon.

I’m sure you could come up with something great and festive, you always do. No matter the occasion. Ever thought of sharing any spooky legends you had at home, those could work real well in song.

But ah, nothing bad about theatrics at all. But I guess no one, in a long time anyway, thought I had it in me to be shining and present on stage.

Ah, but Ghost-type Pokémon are not actual spirits of the dead! Do you think people have changed their minds about those too thanks to this realm's beasties?

Oh, worry not, I have plenty of songs that match the holiday. The reason why I mentioned frowning faces is that many a person in my world consider it bad luck to play an instrument during the time between Samhain and Imbolc (those are the spooky and the sprouting holidays). Appalling, if you ask me! Music should be played all year long!

I do admit I would've never considered you one for theatrics, but not shining and present? Lies and slander, my friend! You've always had your very own stage presence, bright as an Electric-type. And you've definitely proven that on the last contest, a magnificent performance.
