Hello, everyone! I've been told I should introduce myself since I'm new here, so hi! Salutations! My name is Penny, and I just recently arrived here. [She's clearly on a route, since there's tall grass near her and lots of wildlife passing by. Likely Route 29.]

I have to admit, it was pretty jarring having someone claiming to be my mother pushing me out of a house I definitely didn't live in. But at least the bag she gave me had a lot of neat items! I see something that looks like food, but what are all these sprays? [She pulls out the potions and repels. Notably, the Magnemite orbiting around her is steering very clear of the Repel.]

Anyway, I hope we can be friends! I want to make a lot of friends here if I can. [She waves once more, before the feed cuts off.]

Hi, Penny! You can call me Yachi— [ wave! ] Those sprays you have there are mainly Potions. They’re to heal you’re Pokémon if they get injured.

[ a beat, ]

And I think one is a repellent?

Hi, Yachi! It's nice to meet you. [She does another small wave.]

Oh, okay! So the potions will help keep my Pokemon healthy. And this... [She holds up the repel, and as if on cue, her Magnemite hid behind her, making slightly aggravated chirping noises.] Yeah, it seems to be a repellent. My new partner doesn't want to be around it! But why would someone want to use one? Are there really dangerous Pokemon out there?

[ she’s trying not to look too terrified and she’s failing. ]

An Ursaring? [She notices the uneasiness in the other girl's voice, and despite Penny's curiosity on the matter, she decides she'd rather avoid pressing forward. Instead, she simply replies:] They sound scary.

I guess these repellents can come in handy, then!

Yes, I agree! Perhaps she's thinking of everyone as her child because she misses her real child? Or maybe it's a mannerism I'm unfamiliar with. [She is still learning about human customs, anyway.]

I think I'll be okay! I noticed it's getting cold, and it's weird feeling the cold, but maybe it's just another difference about this world. [She's definitely caught on that she feels a lot more... frail. But it hasn't quite hit her that she's suddenly become human in this world.]

[Dimitri is of the personal opinion that she's having a breakdown, being very familiar with those, but... It feels rude to say such a thing about a relative stranger, especially behind her back.]

[For now, he focuses on the task at hand, and rubs his chin. The way she's talking about the chill... Is she from somewhere warmer, like Claude is?]

It does seem to go through a wide range of seasons fairly evenly... The sleeping bag given to you is decent enough, but it might not be enough for the chill. If you would like, I could have someone send you additional supplies.
