Guess what! It's my birthday today! Don't ask me how old I am (a lady never tells).

Anyway, it got me to thinking... What sort of birthday rituals or traditions are there where you come from? Birthdays back home were always pretty normal, I feel. My dad would bake a cake and the skeletons would perform a little dance for me that they choreographed just for the occasion. Then when I was in school I'd throw a party at the tavern on campus and invite all my friends. You know, normal stuff.

But maybe it's not normal where you come from! And if that's the case, then I want to hear what is! Consider it your present to me. ;)

Oh! My dad's servants/guards are all skeletons. Some of them were more sociable than others, so they feel more like friends.

OK, fine, so you caught me on a technicality. But "Lich King" is really more of a title than anything literal. He cultivates an intimidating image just because he doesn't want people snooping in on his business.

It's fucking false advertising is what it is. If I go up some goddamn mountain to fight a Lich King then I'd want to fight some undead fucker. Not some magician with a penchant for bringing up skeletons out of their graves.

That's a big difference.

If you wanted to fight my dad, you would have to get through his army of skeletons and many dangerous traps leading into the Crypt anyway. It's not like he just takes all comers like a Pokemon gym.

And I don't know about liches where you come from, but most liches in Nua and all other planes I've heard of are wizards, aka magicians. It's pretty hard to create a phylactery with no magic.

If I was gonna come after him, I'd just blast up the mountain. There's not shit I can't manage with my own Quirk. A lot of good fucking bones and traps can do when I can just blow them away.

Not that liches and all of that shit even exist where I'm from. Neither does magic. All of that is just fantasy. Made up bullshit.

I'm sure you'd do your best, but you probably shouldn't underestimate what ten thousand loyal skeletons are capable of. But like you said, it's all hypothetical anyway.
