[ Here comes another post from Rainer in the wee hours of the morning! Question is, did she wake up early? Or has she not gone to bed yet? ]

Guess what! It's my birthday today! Don't ask me how old I am (a lady never tells).

Anyway, it got me to thinking... What sort of birthday rituals or traditions are there where you come from? Birthdays back home were always pretty normal, I feel. My dad would bake a cake and the skeletons would perform a little dance for me that they choreographed just for the occasion. Then when I was in school I'd throw a party at the tavern on campus and invite all my friends. You know, normal stuff.

But maybe it's not normal where you come from! And if that's the case, then I want to hear what is! Consider it your present to me. ;)

Oooh that sound wonderful!!
Hehe, maybe I'll do the same thing when mine comes around, too.
Hopefully it won't be too cold - though if there's a place with a nice onsen, that'd be fantastic... I actually think the next town over is more old-fashioned, so it COULD have one.
I think spending a night or two in a fancy ryokan hotel would be heaven!!! ♥♥♥♥

Not for my wallet, though.

It's like an outdoor hot spring or bath, really!!
A lot of hotels up in the mountains back home have natural hot springs, but more modern ones have them built in.

Awww, you don't have to!! My birthday is at the end of December - the 27th - but please don't feel like you have to do that!
Especially since I didn't even get YOU anything this year! I'm really sorry about that...

Yeah, they're really popular for tourists mostly, but of course locals love them, too.

[They just don't love the prices, especially if it's tied to an authentic ryokan style hotel. Those fancy, luxurious places give an authentic Japan experience and even as a Japanese girl, Ochako has been dying to try one at least once in her life. M-Maybe when she's a Pro Hero...with a lot of money...maybe..........]

^^;; There's no way to convince you not to, is there?
You sound a lot like my other friends.

Hehe, well...they're Heroes, like me.
Or at least training to be.

Butting into things and being kind of pushy is just part of the job. :P
Some more than others, but I wouldn't change a thing about them, ever. Not even Bakugou-kun. ♥

LOL i hope so!!
Definitely trying to be!

[Even if being in this world definitely hinders that, considerably, but Ochako won't dwell on it. It'll only bring her down.]

Oh, you've met him? ;P
Hehehe, I promise he's very nice, under all that bluster. He's one of my very good friends and classmates back home.
Actually, there's a REAL Pro Hero here, too!! If you ever meet a blond man with sharp eyes and a really nice personality...with a TON of birds, that's probably Hawks.
