[Steven looks a bit weary--like he's not had the best two weeks, which he hasn't--but he smiles pleasantly at the camera anyway. Viewers will be able to see that he's sitting on a stool in front of the bar at Fight Club. Behind him two Hawlucha--one normal-colored and the other shiny--pose flamboyantly together with an egg between them.]

Regulars at Fight Club already know this and we've already put up flyers around our neighborhood, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to announce it here too. El Diablo Verde and La Hija Del Diablo--no relation--had another small clutch and we're raffling off one of the eggs here at Fight Club. Tickets are 500P and you can buy them at the bar upstairs during normal hours--no need to visit the ring unless you're into that.

We didn't have a supervising breeder, so I doubt the egg will be shiny, but we've constructed a list of moves they're likely to hatch with and it's... fairly extensive, actually, but since they're both the same species and El Diablo was part of my Elite Four team, that's not surprising.

Anyway, the egg should be born knowing these moves:

Acrobatics, Aerial Ace, Bounce, Brick Break, Coaching, Detect, Dig, Drain Punch, Dual Chop, Dual Wingbeat, Encore, Endeavor, Endure, Feather Dance, Fly, Flying Press, High Jump Kick, Hone Claw, Low Sweep, Rock Smash, Roost, Sky Attack, Strength, Submission, Swords Dance, Tackle, Taunt, Throat Chop, Toxic, U-turn, Wing Attack and Zen Headbutt.

[Yeah. This baby is going to be a beast.]

We'll be pulling the winning ticket at midnight, this upcoming Saturday, at the first floor bar at Fight Club--but as long as you write your contact information at the back of your ticket, you don't have to be there for the drawing. If anyone has any questions, I'm here to answer them.

[So Dimitri was always going to buy a ticket, just to support a friend and place that he's visited before, and, you know, maybe make up for some of the awkward memories that he and Steven experienced for one another.]

[Things seemed to go... Well? Okay? Dimitri thinks? But they were... emotional memories on both their ends, and he's really not sure how one approaches this sort of.... subject. At all.]

[Still, when he listens to all of the moves that the little murder egg will know... Dimitri's eyebrows are raised quite high when he responds.]

It sounds as though they will be quite impressive.

Is Felix's own Hawlucha companion from you as well...? Or am I mistaken?

He won the auction, right? So yeah, I think so.

But yes, they will be. But then, they have pretty impressive parents. An Elite Four champion and a shiny... though like I said, they did this on their own, without a supervising breeder, so the odds that the kid will be shiny is a bit low.

He's quite fond of the chick from that auction. He even named him after a teacher, from the military academy we attended when we were younger.

I do not think being a shiny Palien matters quite as much as anything else. It is clear with such proud and loving parents, the resulting child will be marvelous all on their own.
