Yeah, that's all true. Although someone on the network could have just been informing the Rockets.

Sure, but it helps narrow down the suspect pool a bit.
We know that at least one person from another world must have been involved in this.
Whether in the planning or the actual capture.
Every little clue could be the one that breaks open the case.

Do you remember if the people who attacked you said anything?
Even just to each other or to their pokemon?

I don't remember them saying anything more than commands to their Pokemon, or each-other.

I just have on more question about the Meganium and I realise this might be a long shot but
did it have any identifiable features? Like a scar or weird marking or anything?
Just in case I ever manage to track it back down.
