text; siri how do i tell everyone i know i'm a werewolf but like, casually
So, I was wondering - what's something from your world that's been really weird to find out isn't universal? For example, I'm a werewolf and I've been kind of surprised by how many worlds we apparently don't exist in. It's a weird feeling.
Related, is cats having extra eyes a thing where you're from or not, asking for both me and my boyfriend.

[There's a long pause before she sends another text. He has a curse too, so maybe he'll understand.]
i'm scared i might forget all the words i have learned to speak for myself.

I'm not too worried, but that's just because I'm used to mine. If this had happened when I was younger, I probably would have felt differently.
I'm so sorry, Kiri, that does sound really scary. Feeling like you're going to lose what you've gained here is one of the scariest things about this place.

it is. even if i really miss my feathers. stupid god should break the curses forever! but let us keep our selfs.

Doing both of those might be kind of hard for me - but I do wish it'd do that for you. I'd like to see how you really look sometime.

i can show you fourth wall! i have my feathers back then.
[She wants to ask about the other part but isn't sure if it's okay. Curses are bad. ...but if it gives him shapes that are part of his self, is it still bad?]
text
I'll look forward to it!
[Honestly, he wouldn't mind - though explaining the technical definition of a curse where he's from, and his own complicated relationship with lycanthropy, to such a young child might be tough.]
