So, here's the deal.
I've been looking for a certain pokemon with a certain something called an egg-move.
I've heard you can get those through breeding, but honestly, I don't really feel like tangling with that.
I recently caught one of those odd-coloured pokemon, but I don't really want to keep it.
I've heard that some people really like collecting them.
So, here is my offer -- I'd like to trade my shiny for a Nincada with the move Silver Wind.
A bit more information about the shiny I caught - It's a level 13, shiny Grimer. Male.
He's got the ability Stench, which means each time he hits another pokemon, there is a chance for them to flinch.
He seems pretty friendly? I haven't had him for very long, but he seems to be making friends with Gozgoz, at least.
Again, I'm looking for a Nincada with Silver Wind.
If anyone is interested, let me know.
[Accompanying the post is a picture of a Shiny Grimer sitting next to a Trubbish, the two happily feasting on old pizza boxes. It's kinda cute if you like the trash boys.]

I don't really know much about breeding.
Would it be a problem to just keep trying until you get a Nincada?
no subject
not for me but it mite take awhile to get the nincada
since most girl pokemon only can breed once a month

I hope you won't mind me keeping the Grimer until you've got the Nincada though.

Yrmok wanted to say hello, it seems.
[He continues with text because some people are more comfortable that way.]
Hepta, my ninjask, and I would be happy to help if we can. I read that Ninjask can learn Silver Wind by TM, although it seems like I would need to go to the Christmas market to get one. The question is whether he'd pass it down to his offspring, I suppose.

I don't really know anything about pokemon breeding.
There is someone who offered their Larvesta to breed if someone has Nincada or Ninjask to breed it against.
Would that work?

I'm happy to work with Claudia and see what we can do for you. Maybe I'll see what else Hepta can learn while I'm at it to give your future partner an advantage.
text
I've only got one pokemon to trade though. Will that be all right?

In terms of breeding, I see others have responded to you, but should you find them inadequate or need aught else of the sort, there is a breeding ranch south of Goldenrod. The owner of such is an eccentric fellow, but his work is not like to leave one wanting.

[Riz wrestled him for a barely expired bag of bread rolls and they've been buds ever since. And you don't insult his buds.]

But I suppose it is yet a pastime of yours to take offense when there is none to be taken. It must be so exhausting for you. You have my pity.
[He says this, but in reality he used to take offense to even the most minor of offenses. Perhaps not quite anymore, but still.]

Especially by snooty assholes like you.
[Like. Objectively, it was true he was the briefcase kid in middle school.
But the other kids sure weren't using that term as an objective descriptor.]

I'll be certain to not make the same mistake again. Maybe.
Now, if you are quite finished with your one-sided squabbling, mayhap we can get back to the original topic?
text;
I'll probably be better off for it.

Come, shed those prejudices you so abhor, there is little reason we must needs forego civility.
