[The feed starts not with a person, but with shaky footage of ten Pokemon eggs gathered together, a blanket loosely wrapped around the bottom of them. There's a few seconds of that, before Peridot quickly turns the camera around to reveal her beaming face.]

Ha! Eggs! My Pokemon laid eggs - two of them! [A beat.] Two Pokemon laid eggs, I mean. There's ten eggs. You all did see that, right?

[She shakes her head.]

The point is, I win at being a breeder! So, um, what do I do with all of these?

Well-- Well, all I know is that the handbook says the job of a breeder is to raise Pokemon and their eggs. And I've done that!

Well, yeah! I'm a breeder, that's what I'm doing here!

Usually, people sell them. What kind of eggs are they?

Ohhhh, I see. Do you want to buy one? I've got Cutiefly and Pumpkaboo eggs, and maybe Spinarak and Gastly too.

No. But I'm intrigued by the idea of competition between breeders. Is there such a thing? What are the conditions required for victory?

[logdates]

Oh. I don't think there's really a competition, at least, not an official one. I just figured, you know, I did what the job asks. So I didn't fail... Which means I won, right?

Oh— Peridot, congrats on your first batch!

[ a small clap! ]

You usually sell them, or keep them, if you really want to. But selling is how most Breeders make a living. I’d like to know what kind of eggs they are, too . . . [ she considers, thoughtfully. ] You can post information like that on the next post you make, so it’s easier for people to find what they’re looking for! I-It’s a suggestion, but I think it’ll help your sells!
