Video, backdated to January 29

It's Saturday, and all that craziness with the bodyswapping has thankfully ended. Everything's basically back to normal, and barring a few... embarrassing network posts and such no one's really any worse for the wear!

... Except this guy. That sure is a very lovely black eye he's got going around his good eye, not to mention a few smaller scrapes and bruises if you look closely. Or as closely as you can given the awkward angle he's holding the 'gear at.

"Please tell me things like yesterday don't happen often."

He... he needs to be prepared, if that's the case.

No, I can't say I have often woken up in the body of one of my pokemon.

"Good to know."

He notes that it was 'not often' rather than 'never before', but he'll still take it. That, and he's a bit too sore to really dwell on it right now.

"I hear about those weekends, but..."

It is much different to experience such a thing for yourself.

"More like nobody mentioned needing to watch out for one of my own team."

There's a very remorseful-sounding chirp in the background at that. Zipper is very sorry!

I did not have such a bad experience, to tell the truth, but then again, I am rather fond of birds, even if I happen to be inside one of them for a time.

"That wasn't the problem."

Being a small electric lizard had been odd, but still entirely doable.

"Zipper just had a hard time having two legs and no tail for balance."

That, and being much, much bigger, as well as being blind on one side. Three guesses how Geddoe ended up with a black eye...

It does seem rather difficult to get used to not having a tail, once you've already been provided with one.

Well, Geddoe can't speak as to tails, specifically, but...

"Pretty sure that's true no matter what it is that's gone."

A tail, a limb, or even, say, an eye. There's good reason he doesn't hold the poor Helioptile's clumsiness against him.

But I'm sure a little bit of practice wouldn't hurt, either. If we had a bit more time, perhaps.

Or maybe he'd have had worse than some bruises and a black eye to deal with by the time it was done. Either way, Geddoe's none too enthused by the notion.

In any case, it is all over and done with for now.

There might be just a hint of mild exasperation flickering in Geddoe's eye. It being over doesn't change the fact that he still has to deal with the consequences, after all. And concern over that 'for now' is what prompted his post in the first place.
