[The video shows Shadowmaru in his... closet. If you could call it that. It's more like a repurposed spare room. His Type: Null is also visible, calmly sitting like a Null Loaf in a corner. Every so often... it shivers. And glitter sheds all over the floor.]

Therefore! It is, once again, my pleasure to offer my services to you all. Should you require costuming, look no further!

[So saying, he whisks something off a hanger, displaying it for the camera. Of course it's purple.]

I have everything to ensure you stand out.

[Riz's voice sounds absent, and his eyes aren't on Shadowmaru when he returns with the requested information. Instead, he is staring over his shoulder at Shadowmaru's Type: Null.]

Dude, is your Pokemon like... doing okay? It doesn't look like it is doing okay.

Hm?

[He glances over his shoulder, too. But all there is... is the Type: Null. Did someone else come in while he was distracted?]

Oberon? Oh, yes, of course. I adopted it due to its... habit of shedding. It apparently was undesirable otherwise. But this is perfectly normal for it.

O-okay, if you are sure.

[He doesn't sound fully convinced but this is Shadowmaru's Pokemon. He must know best.

He does add a muttered:]

It's like a freaking pixie.

Not to worry, I am certain it's all right.

[For emphasis, he'll reach over to give that helmet a pat. The Null wiggles, happily, shedding even more glitter.]

[... Glitter Shadowmaru simply brushes through his hair with his fingers.]

What kind of Pokemon is that anyway? I've never seen one like it.

They say it's called a "Type: Null". Apparently they do not exist in the wild... they're some sort of laboratory creation.

Wait, someone is just creating Pokemon in labs?

[sassymaru]

Only these ones, from what I understand.

Sylph Co? They made an announcement some time ago, offering these up for adoption. Purely for companionship, rather than competition.

Wait, they are just making Pokemon in labs to be companions? Aren't there like... hundreds of them already?

[sassymaru]

As I understand it, there are those in this world who want pokemon that cannot cause damage or destruction. People who cannot provide battle enrichment... thus these darlings.

However, I could be mistaken. Once I took in Oberon, I was preoccupied with its care and not its origin.

Seems to be that if you'd want a pokemon that can't cause damage, you'd make something a little... smaller. Maybe cuddlier?

[Riz doesn't know much about these things though. Why would you want something that can't do damage.]

I can't say. All I know is that this poor creature was deemed unsuitable for its quirk. Which just so happens to be a quirk that delights me.
