I was thinking today how it's been a while since I've posted anything like this. Or really talked to you guys without it being something like...a malfunction or an accident, so!

I wanted to ask, whether or not you've been here for a long time or just got here, do you have a favorite Pokemon?

I guess it's kindof predictable for me to say my starter is my favorite, but I do really like Eevee a lot. They're a very versatile Pokemon, a good choice for any trainer since they can become so many different things depending on your tastes.

I'd love to hear what everyone else's opinions are.

Oh cool, another Eevee fan! I got one as a starter and I love her. I hear the females are rarer than the males. I really like some of her evolved forms, but I don't know if I plan on trying to get mine to evolve. She doesn't seem interested and I don't want to force it, you know? Also, I've always kind of wondered ... when they evolve, are they still the same inside? Like their personality?

[He's seen some Pokemon on his travels already, and he witnessed a Koffing evolve. Weezing seemed gloomier than Koffing. It makes him sad to think of his Eevee changing personalities.]

"Vee," Eevee mused.

That said, I'd kind of love to find an Espeon or a Glaceon along the way, or both. Maybe I'll run into some Eevees that want to evolve, or maybe I'll find some that already did.

That's good to hear. And cool. Sometimes it seems like people want to evolve their Pokemon too quick.

[Eevee happily greets the other Eevee.]

Thanks for the tips! I don't plan on doing anything unless Eevee decides she wants to after all, but I'll keep that in mind if I find one that wants to evolve.

Yeah, I definitely agree. It bugs me when I see people just treating them like things that don't have their own minds. I never liked that back in my own world with those animals, either.

They definitely seem to have a heightened awareness and intelligence. And that is amazing! I wish all Pokemon could do that.

Oh yeah, mine too. She's very expressive.

"Vee!"

[Eevee says with a nod of finality. Radley laughs.]

Very expressive.

Well ...

[Radley is a little embarrassed. Despite the fact that naming is possible in the Red, Blue, and Yellow games, it's hard for him to even think of names other than the species names, since he usually hears them just called that. He prefers seeing people give them real names, though.]

Funny thing is, Evie is an actual name where I'm from, and that's the first name I always think of when I hear Eevee. So since I have a girl, and that's a girl's name, I just call her that.

[That's actually the truth, but he still feels silly he doesn't have a better name.]

Aww, thanks. Yeah, she does. She's not too particular, though; I haven't found much she doesn't like!
