I was thinking today how it's been a while since I've posted anything like this. Or really talked to you guys without it being something like...a malfunction or an accident, so!

I wanted to ask, whether or not you've been here for a long time or just got here, do you have a favorite Pokemon?

I guess it's kindof predictable for me to say my starter is my favorite, but I do really like Eevee a lot. They're a very versatile Pokemon, a good choice for any trainer since they can become so many different things depending on your tastes.

I'd love to hear what everyone else's opinions are.

Yeah! That's why I thought It'd be an interesting question to ask. I mean there's so many Pokemon, you're bound to find that everyone has a different favorite.

You know, I've never raised an Eevee myself.
Do you think you might train more, since there's so many ways you can raise them?

[mightdoriya]

I'm way ahead of you on that, actually. I plan on raising enough Eevee so I can have each of the types they evolve into!

Right now I have my starter who stayed an Eevee, and then a Sylveon, Umbreon, and Espeon.

There's enough that you won't be able to fit them into a single team, right?

Unfortunately! It would have been cool to be able to challenge a gym with all of the evolutions, but at least one would always be left out...and I don't think Mighty would be happy with me if I had him sit out while all of the others got to battle.

Come to think of it, I wonder why six is the limit...
Doesn't it seem like kind of a random number? Why not 3 or 5?

No you're right, it does seem pretty random. Though I think having it be an even number is good at least, but otherwise I'm not sure what difference it makes. I guess it's to keep competition battles from going on for too long?

Oh, you think 10 would be too much?

Definitely. It might not be so bad if it's pretty one-sided, but if you have a match that's really even? I bet it could go on for hours.

Yeah, I guess you're right.
I still feel like 3 would have made more sense than 6, though...
Not that I'm complaining! It's easier to make a team with 6.

Making a team of just three Pokemon would be an interesting challenge, though. I wouldn't mind trying that sometime against a trainer.

Oh, like a different "modality"?
You're right, that could be fun.
