As per usual, there's no video for Shrike's post, just the audio of what sounds like a kid.

"How long do people usually stay here?"

To his credit, though, while still shy about his appearance he's not nearly as nervous about talking to people as he once was. There's still a trace of it in his tone, to be sure, but his speech is no longer quite so hesitant as before.

"Is it a long time if someone's here for almost a year or more, or are most people here that long?"

And that's it for now. Though if anyone's in the vicinity of Azalea Town, they might catch a glimpse of the shy kid in a Togekiss hood as he goes about his daily routine.

Well, all you need to know is that you'd make a smooth talker if you put your mind to it and that is a very good thing to be because everyone in this world? Out to get you. You gotta be smart if you wanna stay alive! Which is a very very good thing to be. Take it from me!

Give him just a moment to try to puzzle out some of that phrasing. Shrike is still not very good at this whole... having conversations thing.

"Um, you mean like if someone talks to people who want to fight instead of fighting them?"

Not that he'd do the latter anyway if he can help it, he hates fighting.

Honestly, Shrike's the type who'd rather just be holed up in his room than trying to talk people down, but that's a whole other matter.

"Talking's a lot better than fighting, yeah."

Most of the time! But you know what, sometimes, there's something intimate about a good brawl--you'll understand when you're older.
