[The screen is black, but two muffled voices can be heard. It sounds like maybe an argument is going on.]

Do you not see the giant bird right outside?!

Honey, I can't keep you from your journey forever. You have to start your adventure-

I'm saying I can't go outside because there's a giant bird- HEY! STOP PUSHING ME!

[The screen remains black, everything goes silent for a few seconds. There's an awkward "uhhhh.... hi?" before a horrible, loud bird screech in the background. There's a girl's scream, and the sound of someone breathing hard as they run. The screeching continues, until it starts to fade...

... and then the Pokegear falls out, revealing the sky. Finally, a young Colombian girl's face comes into view, but she doesn't seem to notice to Pokegear. She's bent over and out of breath.]

First, I wake up in a strange house with a woman who's NOT MY MOTHER. THEN THERE'S GIANT BIRDS-! UGHHH WHAT IS THIS PLACE?!

The lab? I'll try any building to get away from those birds! Here let me... talk to you in just a little bit.

[Mirabel has to backtrack a bit, but she manages to make it back to the lab safely. She pulls out her Pokegear, squinting at it. She still doesn't understand this... technology stuff.]

Are you still there?

¡Hola! I'm glad I made it too. Luckily, didn't see any mean birds on the way! And my older sis is on her way to pick me up.

You have family here? That's-- Wow, that's really lucky.

I'm really lucky to have Luisa here.

[She is co-dependent on her family she'd be in trouble if none of them were here.]

What about you? Any family here? Aside from that one lady who insists on being your "mom"?
