An Invitation
This Friday, every character will receive a visit from a Pidgey Post bird with a delivery. It’s no April Fools delivery though! It’s this year’s long-awaited (or dreaded) Prom invite!
This year’s invite looks a bit different than those of previous years. Rather than a card, the invitation each character receives looks more like a vintage travel brochure, the pages faintly yellowed. Text is sparse in the brochure (though there are a few phrases sprinkled here and there such as ‘Comfortable berths!’, ‘Spectacular views!’, ‘A Return To Old Charm’) but there are plenty of pictures each, of course, tinted to fit the vintage aesthetic.
The front of the brochure features a large blimp– no, an airship. Inside, one can find pictures of the sleeping quarters, a picture of the sunset out over the wide-open ocean, the inside of a dining hall. Everything in the pictures seems to be covered in an array of gears and clockwork (far more than could ever have an actual purpose), edged in lots of twisted metalwork and dark leather.
The last page simply reads:
See you in the Skies!
