You have a solid point. I myself am planning on investigating the ruins for that very same reason.
I've heard tell that there may be connections between the Alph Ruins and Arceus.
If I am to believe heresay, then I do not believe there is a coincidence in my interest in the site.
I am planning to do more research before I go poking my head in somewhere that it does not belong, but I believe my lead is strong.
