First of all, definitely my friend's pokemon. Not mine. Secondly. I think he looks okay? This is okay, right?
[Attached Louie will receive a picture of a Yungoos, its eyes pin-prick thin as it hugs a thermos of coffee close to its body, occasionally still licking the rim of it. It looks like it has suddenly understood all there is to understand about the universe.]
I think he looks fine. It's just coffee, right? Nothing bad about coffee.
[This reply pleases Riz. The calm, analytical approach is something he values greatly.]
Lets see. He's a yungoos, if that matters. According to my gear, he's 1'04" and 13.2lbs. I cannot be sure about how much he drank. The thermos wasn't full, but I can't remember how much was left in it.
If we consider the fact that these beasts are magical, something as mundane as coffee is not like to cause aught but indigestion. Perhaps a spell of hyperactivity.
Though, I do suppose what Pokémon you fed coffee too also matters, I cannot imagine something like a Cutiefly would handle it well.
Now, I don't know what the caffeine limit would be for Pokémon, but I do know that the limit for an average adult human would be approximately five to ten grams. Which, if you are ingesting it purely through coffee or tea, it would be a rather impressive feat to reach such levels.
I do hope this helps answer your question, at least somewhat.
Oh, my boyfriend is a coffee expert! He would know. But he's out right now. If I were to warrant a guess, it probably depends on their size and how much they drank.
[Okay but they DO make mocha-flavored Poké Puffs, and Poké Beans are used to make coffee, not to mention Café ReMix's offerings. Still, Allura is alarmed, not just at the concept of PokéPoison Control, but at any of Riz's team being THAT hyper.]
My Yungoos. And however much was left in the thermos.
[Allura, probably having met the Yungoos in question, would know it is pretty goddamn energetic on a normal day. Surprisingly though, the coffee hasn't turned him even more hyperactive. Instead, he is just sitting there, licking the thermos and looking like he's figured out everything about the universe.]
Hold on, I didn't give it anything. He stole it. I want to make this very clear. And I don't know how much he had. However much was left in the thermos.
[Uh oh. Seems someone's hijacked Riku's 'gear just for the occasion.]
If you want my humble opinion, as a Pokémon, it is the same as you humans. Everything in moderation! Honestly, it's very kind of you to permit your Pokémon to enjoy "human" beverages. Too many are quick to dismiss us as pets, when we're actually quite sophisticjkhhakjsf
[Uh oh. Technical difficulty. Please stand by.]
...This is what I get for leaving it at the reception desk, huh?
Anyway... How much coffee are we talking here? And is the issue that the Pokémon's sick, or are they just on a big caffeine buzz?

And I'm pretty sure you're in trouble here. Is your Pokemon okay?

However much was left in the thermos.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't full.
[But however much was in there was pretty strong because Riz only drinks coffee that can dissolve spoons.]

PI's ears flatten as he clings more tightly to the thermos of coffee, hissing at Mando in a very familiar way.
