[So, it was spring. And Pokémon were all getting twitterpated with each other. And Romelle's own Pokémon weren't exempt from this. In fact, Petula and Ranlam, her Galarian Rapidash and shiny Sylveon, were proudly showing off three eggs of their own.]

It seems I have three eggs? [Romelle looked a bit embarrassed and unsure of what to do. This was her first time with a clutch of any size. She hadn't even realized that her team had been "frolicking".] I um... Well, if anyone wants one, I guess... just let me know?

I can meet almost anywhere in Johto. I've been around the whole region, and have the ability to use fly with my Alteria. I know you're new here, right? So, it would probably be easier for you to pick the spot and I can come meet you.

[Levi is waiting at the designated location. He's easily recogniable with the green cape and carrying Togepi in his arms. He's trying to stay away from the crowds and keep to the back. He hates being in a crowded area and today seemed pretty busy.]

[Romelle was pretty obvious when she landed. Though, most people didn't even seem to notice, but to someone not from PokéWorld, seeing a giant blue bird with fluffy white cloud wings was probably very noticeable. Either way, she had a pack with her, and she smiled as she came over to meet Levi.]

The jealous type? I haven't run into that with Petula. She just likes to show off.

Yes, it certainly does. I mean, I suppose, in some way, Pokémon are still like animals and have seasonal times where they're more likely to... you know. [She blushed a little.]

Yes, it seems that is what happens everywhere. Animals do want to continue their species.

Ah, y-yes... they certainly do! [She laughed a little nervously.] I suppose yours are too young still, yes?

Yes, I suppose so. Foudre is young as far as I can tell. The Espurr that hatched from the egg is naturally even younger.

Yes. [Romelle nodded a little.] When we get our first Pokémon, they are pretty new. That's part of the journey, though, I think.

It would make sense, having a young partner that grows with you. Also those that are young tend to imprint faster with others than those who are older.

It is something I've come across. I seem to have inherited a Pokémon from someone who had been here a while back, and now she's with me. But she doesn't respond to me very well. Someone said it's because she was basically traded to me, and is a very high level, so I need to earn more badges.

However, my own Pokémon who are of very high levels respond to me much better.

I see. As frustrating as that maybe, it does make sense. She does not know you as well as she knew her previous trainer so unfortunately you have to work harder to earn her trust than the ones that grew up with you.

It does, when I really think about it. But, Tiramisu seems fairly content to stay with me, so I take care of her. One day, I'll get there with her.

If it seems that she is happy, then that is good progress. Eventually, she will know that she can trust you the same that she trusted her previous trainer.

I certainly hope so. I know she misses her first trainer. She was the first Pokémon he had.
