It was quite the interesting experience fighting a Gym Leader - I hope that the others end up as enlightening. I shall be setting out to the next city as soon as I can. But I've... a small concern.

[ The camera pans to show quite the crew. Her entire team are out and relaxing. Note the multiple cat-like Pokemon... ] Will they truly be okay in the box? I wish not to choose favorites, but I do know that some of them will do better against the next gym then others.

...Perhaps I shall need to spoil them when we get to Azalea Town.

Hey, congratulations! That's great.

[Radley winces at the fight in the background. He had looked out the window earlier and seen those guys eating his garbage, but he had just shook his head and decided if they wanted it, great. He was just too worn-out to bother trying to wrestle garbage away from them.]

I'm not comfortable with the Box myself, but everyone says the Pokemon are okay with it. [He remembers Carly talking about it, for one.] Maybe since you've got some Psychic Pokemon, they could help you ask all your Pokemon how they feel about it?

[ There's so many of them... Minfilia nods to herself. ] Actually, I do not need psychic-types. Mostly.

Where I came from, I could understand non-Hyur Spoken. Yet, it seems I cannot quite do that here. I can understand their meaning, but not their words.

[Radley looks impressed.]

That's still pretty amazing! I can sometimes understand what my Pokemon are trying to say, but other times I'm not quite sure. And it's usually only when I can tell they're hungry or want to cuddle or stuff like that. I can't understand full sentences and sometimes nothing at all on more complex questions.

Rose - my Audino - has also been learning letters and sounds, to speak the common tongue of Man. It's... made it easier, I must admit. But perhaps I can use this to aid others who do not have this advantage.

...I'm still a new trainer, and yet I want to aid others. I suppose things don't change.

That's amazing! I wonder if any of mine could do that.

Yeah, we're in another world, but we're still the same people, really. The same wants and needs and stuff.

[He always hopes to be able to help others too, especially after feeling like a failure back home.]

We are. And I cannot help but continue to try and lead, even if I'm no longer a leader.

I get that. I was a leader back home myself, although it was probably on a much smaller scale than it was for you. I was also called a Papa Wolf a lot. I always try to look after my Pokemon here like I did for my friends back home.

[And they reward him for it; several are snuggling him now.

He feels that same protectiveness about people too, but he doesn't say that.]

I led an organization which was meant to protect people. [ She can't really say more. ] We operated in secret until recently - but I was their leader. While those smarter or stronger then I went out and aided in the field, I remained behind to aid in the ways I could. Like organization, and working with the nations of my homeland.

[crystalmaster]

That's great. Those are important jobs too. I usually didn't fight in the "field" back home either. But I ran and planned everything and looked after the townspeople.

Oh? Then our roles were similar. Except I had no town, simply my people. Even if one of the people working under me was creating his own militia...

Yes. I still worry that he's in over his head, but he is one of the top scholars of his generation.

Really? How old is he?

... You can be a top scholar at sixteen?! Is he a prodigy?
