Well Starting Now, I’m Learning Fast (Hisui Catch-All)
Who: Princess Allura and YOU
Where: Hisui, starting at Base Camp and surrounding areas
When: Shortly after arrival through the rest of the month
Summary: Allura gets sent back in time and starts hitting the workahol again
Rating: PG-ish for now, will warn as necessary
Dear Sweet Ancients this is frustrating. Once again waking up kidnapped, panicking at not knowing whether or not she was alone or if the others remembered everything (thankfully dispelled quickly), and finding out this is all because of some quack focused more on proving her crack theory than on taking responsibility for her mistakes. After giving Cara Liss a LOUD earful about pathological science and how they AT LEAST deserve a faint apology for this mess (although really, it seemed like "Doctor" Liss didn’t care much), Allura takes a few seconds to calm down and get back into Princess Mode.
At least they have shelter thanks to the Ginkgo Guild- they’re actually useful, Liss- so they need food and firewood, and possibly fending of wild Pokémon. It’s… difficult, being without Coressa for the first time since the two of them met, or any of her Pokémon really, especially the two new eggs she bought from Cecil just days before. But the little Cyndaquil at her side is cute. Plamer is a gentle little Mon, but powerful in his own right; she’s a bit grateful she doesn’t have to worry too much about her new partner fending off so many strong Pokémon alone. Of course, she definitely wouldn’t mind some help as she goes about her tasks, or just someone to get her to unbottle her feelings about all this.
[[OOC: Catch-all for Allura's Hisui threads! No specific prompts yet, besides settling in and survival tasks, but will add prompts as the month goes on. Feel free to plot with me here if you'd like something more specific!]]

And with the tasks that the Ginkgo Guild give them, it certainly makes her feel more like the work she'd be doing back home as well. She doesn't have her Gifted strength, of course, but she's still strong enough to handle most of the tasks. And while she misses Sergio, who has been her constant companion since arriving in this world, she also can't deny how adorable her new compañero mullido is, and she's glad to have him.
Keeping a lookout for others that she knew at camp, she can't help a smile as she came across a familiar face. "Hey, Allura!"

Allura looks up and gives a smile and wave, which lightens her face significantly from the determined yet distracted scowl she's bean wearing the last couple days. Being flung into a situation like this yet again without any of her team because of some idiot "scientist" and surrounded by extremely powerful and aggressive wild Pokémon has brought back her old habit of throwing herself into work to improve the situation.
"Hello, Luisa. Are you and Mirabel all right?"
no subject
"Yeah, we're okay. A little shaken, but I'm sure that's everyone."
no subject
A wry chuckle. "Indeed." She gives a tired sigh. "Waking up in a totally different time period without warning is always jarring."
If she had a nickel for every time that happened, she'd have two nickels, which is two nickels too many.

Probably since they had traveled back into the past, but the kind of technology that the Ginko Guild had access too felt a little similar to life in the Encanto.

"Ah, I suppose it would." She looks around. "And at least we still have all our memories, and the Guild's assistance. And each other."
Optimism was hard to come by for Allura, but her time in the Pokémon world was putting her back in practice instead of focusing only on their Pokémon teams being left behind, or that they're more or less stuck in much more hostile wilderness than the typical Johto route. They were all together, and working well together. They could get through this. ... Arceus help Cara Liss once they get back to Johto though.
"Speaking of which, anything I can help you with?"

She does miss her team, especially Sergio, who had been with her since the beginning. But for now, all they could do was focus on where they were in order to try to get back.
"Oh, uh, sure. I was just gonna go help with some of the gathering, since that'll help with taking a look around too."
no subject
A firm nod as Allura begins to walk beside her, taking out her rustic Pokémon and summoning her Cyndaquil.
"Plamer, this is Luisa. Luisa, Plamer." Said Cyndaquil takes a few tentative sniffs... before ducking behind his trainer. "Forgive him, he's a bit shy, apparently."

Muilldo tilts his head a little and turns back to Allura and Plamer, then barks in greeting.
no subject
"Oh! Yes, this is a Hisuian Growlithe, yes?" She smiles at him. "He certainly looks sweet."
And... familiar, her memory of saving Sandalphon from an overenthusiastic pack of them during December's fourth wall creeping to the surface.

"Perhaps. The people seem fairly advanced, but who knows how easy it is for people and information to travel with how strong the Pokémon here are."
Suddenly Allura perks up a bit. "Oh look, I think that's a leek."
no subject
As Allura points out the leak, Muilldo bounds over to retrieve it, then trots back to Luisa and offers it to her.
"Thanks, Muilldo," she says, taking the leak and putting it away with the rest before petting the Growlithe's head.
