Geddoe really isn't in the mood for socializing. Not that he often is in the first place, but even so. Still, just because he's missing an eye doesn't mean he's blind to the fact that the other fellow clearly wants company, whether he's willing to more directly ask or not.

Unfortunately for Geddoe, the hesitation that causes is enough for Bolt to slide down off his shoulder and to the ground, bounding after the stranger.

"Bolt!"
