Arrival/ Obsidian Fieldlands at night
It's been a wild ride since he'd arrived in this new region. At first he had felt at home in Johto and even had some buddies there like Grim and Brodoof. He was getting used to that world when he was suddenly thrown into the past. Sure, Zack had understood What Cara Liss had said but that didn't mean he liked it. He was just starting out his second chance at life and now here he was in another new world.
While he did miss his phone and other modern technology and goods {his hair gel really was sorely missed} he didn't mind being out in the wild. He'd grown up with almost nothing in the backwaters of Gongaga so this was more nostalgic of home then the other place had been.
Zack missed his buddies but luckily he had gained another buddy here. Doggo the growlithe was his buddy and he reminded Zack a lot of brodoof. Doggo would often lay at his feet or cuddle him when he was feeling sad. It was like Doggo could read his thoughts, though Zack wasn't sure if that was real or not. The jury was out on that one still. Together they had adventured around the Obsidian fieldlands, meeting other trainers every so often but usually camping out under the stars together. That was where they were currently found, huddled up under a tree. Doggo was sleeping but Zack was up and stargazing, kept up by thoughts of home and of the previous world.
Cobalt Coastlands
The coastlands were a place Zack really enjoyed. It wasn't too hot but when you laid on the beach for awhile it was warm enough to warrant a nice soak in the waters. At least he had thought that until he realized how many pokemon were in the waters. He had stopped venturing deep into the ocean after learning what lived there the hard way. Doggo wasn't even able to help him in water at all, the poor boy always waited for him patiently on the beach like the good boy he was.
Currently Zack was lounging on the beach, his growlithe laying besides him but on alert in case any other pokemon came too close and tried to bother them. He'd taken his survey corps uniform top off and was topless, only keeping the pants on for now. Doggo's tail started to wag a bit but he stayed where he was, seeing a trainer in the distance. Zack sat up, his back covered in sand and stretched a bit before getting up to survey the area around them.
Alabaster Icelands
It was cold, but with Doggo at his side he had a small furball who always generated heat. The two had trekked into the snowy fields exploring. Really it was just Zack walking in the snow with Doggo in his arms the whole time to keep them both warmer. Doggo was enjoying this and had his tongue out the entire time.
As they had explored, the duo came up upon a flock of bird pokemon that Zack obviously didn't recognize. It looked like some of the bigger birds were picking on a smaller one. Doggo whined at the scene and the two rushed in. Some of the birds (rufflets) flew off in surprise but the one that remained seemed injured in it's wing. Doggo used a fire fang on the rufflets that remained while Zack grabbed the injured Rufflet. "Hey little one, you doing okay? I'll get you some help soon I promise."
A cold wind blew as Zack brought the bird closer to his chest. He whistled for Doggo to leave the others and follow him as they ran into the wild to find any other trainer who might have some kind of healing on them.

Coastlands!
Well, no, it's surely not wild, Pichu aren't found in this zone. Which means it must undoubtedly have a trainer around... somewhere. But never mind that, the Pichu is cheerfully bounding over to the duo on the beach, squeaking a greeting as it goes.
... Doubtless its trainer will be along looking for it shortly. Probably.
Re: Coastlands!
Doggo started to bark as he noticed the Pichu first, his curly fluffy tail wagging in excitement. The noise got Zack's attention and he saw the little yellow and black mouse like creature headed towards them. It was absolutely adorable, though he did think Doggo was still cuter. He headed towards the Pichu and crouched down as Doggo joined him and sniffed at it. Zack picked it up, the small mouse fitting in his hands with ease. "Well aren't you adorable! Are you lost little one? Did you wanna come hang out for a bit?"
no subject
Or, well, that's more or less what the little Pokemon is chittering, but being a Pokemon, it's just incomprehensible noises to most human ears. The Pichu is clearly pretty excited or passionate about whatever it's saying, though, and there's even a hint of electricity crackling about its cheeks. Hopefully its trainer will turn up soon!
no subject
"Hey little buddy do you have an owner?" He asks as he places the little pichu on his shoulder. "If you want you can stay up here. I don't mind carrying you. This is Doggo by the way, my good boy. Isn't that right Doggo? Whose a good boy!?" As he speaks to the pichu he is rubbing on his growlithe's belly, all smiles and love for his pokemon. Doggo is loving the attention as usual, his tongue hanging out of his mouth and his tail wagging as Zack keeps piling on the affection.

Icelands
"Hey! What happened to this little guy?" he asks in concern.
Re: Icelands
"Hey! He was getting attacked by a bunch of other birds. I think his wings broken. Do you have any potions or anything on ya?" Zack kept the rufflet safe in his arms, the little bird curled up against him with it's wing outstretched and clearly injured.
Re: Icelands
"I think I have one of those muffins that's similar...."
He goes through his pockets and finds it. "Here it is!"
Re: Icelands
"Hey little one, time to eat. This is going to help you." He tried to get it's attention but the little Rufflet just didn't want to move. He was worried maybe it was too weak but then it finally took a bite of the food, a sad sound escaping it.
"Hey, you're gonna be okay. I promise." He watched it get a little more energetic from the food but it's wing was still injured, at least it was okay now though.

Fieldlands
It's all the warning Zack and Doggo get before another growlithe bounds around the tree they're under, practically bodyslamming into Doggo. A friend! A friend that wants to play!?
He was asleep Cassia, so he probably had no intention of playing with you. By the time Lorenz makes it up the rest of the hill he finally just sinks down to the grass, one hand on his chest, clearly trying to measure his breathing. He flashes an apologetic look at Zack but it's a moment yet before he can actually speak.
"I'm so sorry. We... were meant to be back to camp before nightfall but-" He waves a hand vaguely in his growlithe's direction. Excitable puppy and all. He's really not supposed to be out and about too much, not without his meds here, but doggos need walkies and sometimes those happen to involve sprinting across the fieldlands. Apparently. He's so glad Conifer never had this much energy.
Re: Fieldlands
Doggo wakes with a start and yips before realizing what is happening. He was in a really deep sleep but now seeing another Growlithe he is up and ready to play. The two running around in circles around each other.
Zack barely escapes the growlithe love pile and makes his way over to Lorenz, reaching to the sky for a stretch of his back before squatting down next to the other. "No worries, are you okay? You look exhausted man."
no subject
"Y-yes, of course." Quickly, doing his best to at least stop breathing so very hard. "I merely need to catch my breath."
Which would be far more convincing if the struggle to swallow down his own labored breathing and speak at the same time didn't send him straight into a coughing fit. A kerchief swiftly tugged from his kimono and already lifting his other hand to wave away any concern. No, no. He's fine. Really.

Coastlands
There's a guy just kinda lazing over there. And now that guy's on alert. And now Riku's Zoroark is also on alert and looking Doggo dead-on.
So we have this silver-haired mid-20's awkwardly wedging himself between his ghostly Zoroark and the furball.
"Hey, easy. It's just some guy." He didn't mean it as an insult, but he probably coulda worded that better.
Re: Coastlands
"Hey, sorry about that. He's not usually like that, I think he was spooked." He keeps Doggo in his arms as he eyes the Zoroark and it's trainer, still not sure what happened exactly but feeling at fault for it anyway. "He didn't bite or anything did he?"
no subject
This prompts a huff and a grumble from the disgruntled ghost-dog.
"Still, sorry 'bout that. I came out here to clear my head. Didn't think there'd be other people hanging around."

SURF'S UP
Zack honestly loves the beaches and so all his pokemon and himself are out in full force at the beach. Cherrygrove is a nice small city and since it's small the places have been cheap to stay at and so he's been here awhile.
It's while he is staying in cherrygrove that a swarm of pikachu and Raichu appear at the beach the same time. Zack only knew what a pikachu was since it was plastered all over everywhere and it kind of looked like grim his mimikyu. As for the Raichu he didn't know what it was but the fact both pokemon types were surfing had his eyes sparkling in excitement. He HAD to catch one!
no subject
But it doesn’t take long before he too sees the swarm of Pikachu and Raichu surfing around the beach. Curious to see what is going on, he takes off to see them and finds Zack checking out the electric Pokémon as well. All of his Pokémon too follows after him too.
no subject
Zack himself is in just a pair of long swim shorts that go to his knees and is already planning to jump into the water in hopes to get one of the pokemon. He knows none of his pokemon are really going to be a help against these. He stops when he heard some others approach and turns to wave at the trainer.
"Heya! Here to get one yourself?"

I like you a latte~ Stantlerbucks date with Lorenz
That was how he found himself wandering Goldenrod city again looking for something to do with Doggo and Brodoof walking at his heels. It was there he spotted some familiar purple toned hair. Lorenz had been rather sickly in the other world and as he got closer he could see the man looked much healthier here which was a great think. He'd been genuinely worried previously.
"Hey! Lor! Is that you?!" He waved the other man down, practically shouting at him across the street.
no subject
Still, the excitable man and his dogs are hard to miss and after a moment she's directing Lorenz' attention in the correct direction before floating over curiously herself. The little white flower she usually tends is still tucked neatly behind Lorenz' ear as he makes his way over, making a point of using the crosswalk rather than just rushing across the middle of the street like certain fairy types are able to do. "Well. Good afternoon, Zack. Do you make a habit of hollering across city streets at folk?"
As much as it is a criticism it's a playful one, with a soft smile and a hint of a chuckle in the words.
no subject
Zack was ready to hug Lorenz once he puts his pokemon down but the moment he sees him and see how much better he looks here, Zack is all smiles and a little embarrassed even. Lorenz is pretty handsome when he's not dying and that flower in his hair is really cute. Man he should have brought a flower to put in his hair.
"Nah I only do that at friends. You looks great Lorenz, I mean like..you're not suffering and just dude you look really good." Is Zack checking him out and walking around him a little predatory like? Just a little. He looks better than he was in hisui too, his hair is spikier and he's more clean shaven too. "Whatcha up to?"

New Bark Town, shortly after being zapped back to the present
Said lizard is currently busy clambering all over Geddoe's shoulders and head, chittering urgently all the while. It's making it a little hard for Geddoe to do anything else, especially as he seems reluctant to just forcefully grab the little guy.
"... It's alright, Zipper."
Re: New Bark Town, shortly after being zapped back to the present
The group made their way outside of the crowds so they could really reunite and play and that was when Zack spotted a familiar eye patched man up ahead. "Geddoe?" He moved closer and squinted only to confirm it really was him. Zack ran, his pokemon following behind. " Geddoe! Hey! You made it!"
no subject
Still, he does at least turn when he hears someone calling his name, the Helioptile finally settling down enough to curl around his trainer's neck.
"Looks like it," he says simply. It's hard to say whether he finds returning to Johto a relief, or not returning to his own world a disappointment.
