Hisui #1: It'll be a few days yet before everything's fixed and people are sent back to their proper time, but before that happens, Keldor's making yet another attempt to catch one of the native Growlithes before time runs out.

The clock Keldor should be worrying about right now is the "day clock". It's already sunset, and that means the diurnal 'mons will soon be punching out while the night shift punches in. Already a flock of Zubats and a few Golbats are heading out with a big case of the munchies. Their Crobat leader hasn't arrived yet, but when it does, it's gonna notice Sakura and recognise her as a potential enemy.

Rocks will need to be deployed, but unfortunately for Keldor, there's a Voltorb amongst them, and when he grabs it, the result is predictable. It might even look like the taserings from Despicable Me 2, but we won't confirm that.

While he's recovering from the shock of a lifetime he might need assistance. First to drive off the 'bats thinking he's now been zapped into a lunchable, then to help him back to consciousness, and then hopefully to help him catch his Growlithe.

Hisui #2: One day and one electrocution later, it looks like Keldor's made a fast friend with the Voltorb he accidentally grabbed last night. He's not quite sure what to make of it, but the Voltorb doesn't seem inclined to want to leave [despite all efforts to shoo it away], so it looks like it's going to be part of the team for the foreseeable future.

Johto: It's good to be back, even if where he is isn't his original home. Ganpi, Fukiran, Gingko and Momiji are eager to get to know their new friends before Keldor's pokegear informs him that he's got one too many pokemon on-hand and the limit is six. As much as he'd really like to work on training Sakura and his second Growlithe, he did spend a lot of money trying to get Fukiran's egg, so he'll be kept while the other is sent to the box [as will Sakura].

Now that that's out of the way, it's time to get to work.

Everyone is behind on their training and they need to make up for lost time.

[Radley chuckles.

Lily warbles. She appreciates the help too.]

Yeah, you also did a good job, girl.

[Radley pets her and she leans into his hand.]

[Lily chirps happily.]

... What were you doing when you got attacked anyway?

[Radley realizes he doesn't know. Maybe it was a mission that still needs completion. He could take over, maybe, if so ... if it wouldn't entail possibly meeting up with that Voltorb.]

[It takes a moment for him to remember. That jolt of electricity certainly scrambled things up, and he needs to jog his memory.]

A Growlithe. One of the Growlithes native to this place and time. I was hoping that getting one would ensure that Fukiran would not be overworked if I did manage to train him up as a mount.

... Ah. I see.

[Radley frowns. He's not so keen on being around Fire types either, but there's no telling if there'll be another chance to get that kind of Growlithe....]

I promise I will be careful in capturing it.

[Not just himself, but his pokemon, who's going in with a distinct disadvantage against these Growlithes.

Improvising might work, though.]

Good. Do you have a plan for getting one? It looks like it'll be tricky.

Whatever plan I use will require a lot of strategy. Sakura will be going in at a distinct type disadvantage.

[Sakura, though, just stomps her feet, to show that she's got other ways to beat an opponent that doesn't involve using attacks that are weak to certain types.]

De! Eye!

You have other ideas?

[He's asking Sakura.]

["Eevee?" Lily queries, curious too.]

It'll have to be a really clever one.

[Sakura flaps up a bit, then proceeds with kicking her feet at some unseen enemy.]

I suppose that could work, but you would need to be in close proximity to deal damage.

[Annoyed, Sakura flaps even harder, stirring up a good breeze. Keldor's hair whips a little as Sakura creates a small Gust.]

Ah. Start with attacks that are not weak to fire, then use physical assault to knock it out?

DE! DEEEEEEEEEE!

[Radley's hair also blows, and he reaches to shield himself. He still looks skeptical, certain she could get hurt.

Lily says she could add Swift.]

[Keldor, of course, doesn't understand pokemon enough to always know what his own are saying, much less someone else's.]

Is she offering to help?

[The more assistance the better.]

[Radley smiles. He can get the gist of it.]

She's doing the pose for Swift. Yeah, she says she can do that attack.

Two against one Growlithe should make it easier for Sakura.

[Radley pets Lily.]

Well, when you're ready we can try it then.

[He doesn't want Keldor to try getting up too soon.]

Yes. When I am ready.

[He won't. He'd be too slow-moving if he tried, and, well. The Growlithe probably won't be back for a day or two anyways.]

[crystalmaster]

Just let me know. I go out on gathering missions a lot.

[He hopes he'll be available. He doesn't want Keldor to go alone.]

[After being electrocuted by a Voltorb, he's not as keen now as he was before to go alone, so that won't be a problem.]

I will. You will be informed of my next attempt.
