[The video feed opens with Radley filming as he goes outside on his property to see what some of his Pokemon are exclaiming about. He almost drops the PokeGear when he sees.]

What the ... ?!??!!!

[Pikachu and Alolan Raichu are surfing in the pond.]

Just ... how?!??!

[Evie makes an exclamation of delight and runs over to the shore.]

Evie! Evie, no! Come back!

[Evie has already leaped onto the surf board to ride with Raichu. She warbles in delight.

Radley slaps his forehead.]

Oh gosh. Evie!

[He's terrified of Electric types attacking him, but he's more afraid of them getting mad and hurting Evie. He watches for a moment, tense, but they seem friendly and welcoming to her being there. Seeing that, he keeps filming the video, but it's probably shaky until his hands stop shaking.]

So ... I'm not gonna antagonize these guys. But ... what do I do about this? How are they even surfing in my pond?!

[A crowd is starting to gather outside the property fence, enjoying the show. Seeing this, Radley ponders. If Evie's not in danger, and people like this, maybe it can turn to his advantage. Maybe he can subtly hint at the crowd getting some food to eat while watching the entertainment.]

... They are pretty skilled at what they do. I have to say I'm impressed. Anyone wanna drop by and see this in person?

Not all humans are like that, but there's way too many who are. It sounds like your world has a serious imbalance in the kinds of humans there.

[Radley has been told that he's incredible for being able to forgive such things as being abandoned in the mines by everyone he trusted.]

I see Lyn and Trydor and wish the rest of their people could be as accepting as they are.

I wish that too. Humans deserve better representation than we often get, and nobody deserves to run into the bad ones.

[He's quiet for a moment. Radley's "we" reminds Keldor that for all he dislikes humans, he can't escape the fact that he is as much human as he is Gar. That they are his people, too. And that how he acts reflects on them just as the actions of other humans do.]

No. No one does.

[His voice sounds a bit ... far away at the moment.]

... This conversation got deeper than I planned. I'm sorry if I brought up bad memories....

[He's still holding Scotch, who now struggles to move up his shoulder. Radley has to laugh at that. Isla is teaching him well.]

Yes. It did. But perhaps it is better to save it for another day.

[He notices that the number of people here to catch a pokemon has dwindled down to only a handful now. The rest have either left to begin training, or have joined the spectators who are enjoying the rest of the day and the Pikashow.]

I have enjoyed myself, and am looking forward to acquiring my first badge.

I'm glad. It's been nice here too. That's more than I was expecting after discovering Electric types on the property.

It seems that everyone is surprised to see them.

He thinks he might join the rest of the spectators and watch until the Jennies tell everyone it's time to go home for the night; Sprout Tower is now closed.]

It is pretty surprising. Who'd think Electric types would like water so much?

[Chinchou and Lanturn are electric types and they like water, but today we get the 'chus instead.]

[The show seems to be winding down as the sun sets. People start leaving. Radley is pleased as he starts counting up his earnings for the day.]

Well, I hadn't thought Electric types would ever do anything for me, but these guys sure have.

[From the looks of things Radley has made a decent sum of money.]

Perhaps it is their way of attempting to befriend you?

[What he means is, "they can't be all that bad".]

Hmm. They probably just wanted a body of water, but that's a nice thought.

[The surfing winds down too, with Pikachu and Raichu finally hopping out.]

[The Jennies are also giving the signal that they're closing up for the day.]

At any rate, it appears they are departing from here as well. And so are the spectators.

[Which is good timing. He's hungry now and will soon need rest.

Tomorrow begins with Nami's training.]

I wonder where the Pokemon are going to go now.

One can only surmise.

[He says, as he joins the queue to leave for the day.]

Perhaps to a place they have not yet been to.

[Which could be anywhere.]

Yeah. They'll probably look for another body of water.

[Another town. Another body of water. Another crowd to entertain. It's good to be a surfing Pikachu or an Alolan Raichu.]

As for me, I shall be looking for a place to refresh myself and rest.

Today has been busy and most productive.

Well, I'm just going inside my building here, but yeah, good journey to you.

[He smiles and starts calling the Pokemon to come inside with him.]

[That response triggers laughter from Keldor. Not at Radley's expense, no, but at himself. He's only known Radley a short time, but already regards him as a trusted friend, and as such had briefly forgotten that Radley doesn't know Eternian customs.]

No. No. In Eternia one does not say things like "goodbye" as is the custom here. One says "good journey" instead.

[Now, with it explained properly, so Radley understands the context,]

Good journey, friend.

Oh! That's pretty cool. I like that better than Goodbye.

[He smiles.]

[Keldor nods, and the feed is cut.]
