Third Spell: Mostly Video Catch-All.
Who: Keldor
Where: Dark Cave; Route 32
When: Over the course of a week [Dark Cave happens earlier].
Summary: Keldor goes pokemon spelunking in Dark Cave for rock types, then it's off to Route 32 in the hopes of getting a Mareep.
Rating: PG in case of language
Log: Dark Cave
Dark Cave is... Yeah. It's pretty dark, but Keldor's smart and, before setting off to find a rock type or two picked up some of the tools he'll need to find his way around [like helmet with a light], and the video feed mostly just captures a lot of lit up cave floor.
So far, that's all there is to see, save for the sight of Gingko the Dartrix. But the audio captures a lot of flapping sounds as Zubats and Noibats fly overhead, startled somewhat by the light. They get ignored. It's Geodudes and Rockruffs Keldor's after, and Gingko's ready to help.
Route 32
No need for helmets or head lights. It's sunny out at the moment so no need for artificial light sources.
Keldor's been told that there's a flock of Mareep to be found not too far from Violet City at the start of the route, but the only flocks to be found are flocks of Pidgeys and Starlies, and he's not there for them [though maybe he should be, as getting one of them now means he'll have a candidate for air transportation later on].
Unfortunately out here Keldor doesn't have anything with a type advantage, but he's not letting that stop him from getting what he's after and getting some training in; especially for Nami, his recently-acquired Alolan Raichu.

Route 32
"So, any luck yet?"
The three baby Eevees are frolicking in the yard and playing with the adults.
Re: Route 32
"None so far. These particular creatures are being elusive."
Gotta keep looking. Diversify that pokemon portfolio.
Re: Route 32
"Huh. You wouldn't think a bunch of sheep would be good at hiding. Back home a flock is pretty easy to spot."
He's holding two of the eggs he got from the windfall that Sion and Ryner's Pokemon had. The Magikarp have already hatched and are enjoying the pond.

Which is why he's hoofing it around trying to find the woolly bastards. They should have left a clue as to where they got off to.

He should've said something like "why didn't I think of that?", but he's still getting used to the idea of having pokemon at all, and all the things they're capable of after having had just Panthor for so long.
"Actually, I should get Momiji and Fukiran to help too. From ground level."
With several "pops", all four pokemon are released and given instructions before running and flying off.

It's kind of a nice sight to see on the feed.

Television's not exactly big in Eternia, and mostly because it hasn't really been invented yet. Which means it's time for Keldor to learn yet another thing from Radley.
no subject
Radley hates whenever they show animals harming each other.
no subject
"Ah. There are visual recordings of animals, but not like that, or for the same exact purpose."
They educate only, rather than educate and entertain.
no subject
"Really? What are they like?"

Time for some more "learning new things from Radley".

Pause.
"What sorts of visual recordings do they play?"

He might have to check these things out to see what they're like.

Recording a play so that those who didn't see it when it was held can is an interesting concept.
Maybe it'll catch on if someone tries it.
no subject
He had thought they would surely have those for entertainment.
"It's funny how a lot of the shows here are similar to back home, just with Pokemon."
no subject
"I will take you at your word about that."
It's not like he has anything to compare with when it comes to television shows.
no subject
He is thinking of inviting Keldor over to watch TV sometime, but first he should determine what Keldor might like watching.
