An egg post. Of sorts. Maybe.
[Oh, look at that, it's Armin, standing on a beach, with a sweet collection of eggs just behind him -- thirteen in all, if anyone is keeping count-- and Lapras visible further back.]
Hello. Uhm-- As I'm sure most of you already know, my name is Armin, and I run a Lapras breeding program. If you aren't familiar with Lapras, they are a wonderful aquatic pokemon, but years of over-hunting left them very near to extinction in the wild, so this is my way of trying to reverse that damage. At least a little.
I actually just recently released a batch of young lapras into the wild, and I've just bred a new clutch of eggs [here he turns and gestures at the eggs behind him.] This will be my fifth batch of Lapras and I wanted to try a little experiment this time. I'm not sure if it is something people would be interested in but I'd like to try.
[He turns back to the camera.]
I'd like to know if anyone would be interested in adopting one of these Lapras.
[In a rush, he quickly adds:]
Not-- not physically! Or permanently. All of these young Lapras will be going into the wild when they are old enough. I meant more of an adoption in name. I've read about other pokemon rescues doing these sorts of things to help people feel connected and involved, and I was wondering if that was something that would work for my breeding program too. I'm certain there are other people too who'd like to help Lapras, but don't exactly have the room to keep a breeding herd.
[He gives a bit of a wry smile.]
And, honestly, it would also be a way to help my gym's budget.
If you are interested in adopting one of these Lapras, you'll get to name them --though, of course we'll have to wait until they've hatched to know exactly what they are-- and I'll give you regular updates on your adopted Lapras. You can even come visit if you'd like.
And in exchange for that, well, I'll take whatever you'd like to contribute -- whether it is a one time donation or a reoccurring one. Or even if you'd like to donate some of your time. The babies are mostly raised by the adults members of my herd, but there are some cleaning and feeding duties that you could help with.
It might be a bad idea, but I hope you'll give it some thought.

I'd like to adopt one! Donating to your efforts is incredibly worthwhile, and I would be more than happy to put my name behind it.
[Supportive fiancee is a-go!]
in person.
You already do so much to help me out. I don't think I could ask for more.

It's hardly helping just you out. It's for the Lapras, right? [Still, she doesn't continue to argue. Rather, she rises up to give his cheek a kiss.] Besides, Nimbus would certainly appreciate the effort being made to her family.

[Is it the kiss? Using his beloved Lapras 'against' him? The reference to the Lapras he bred for her? Yes.]
If you want, you could always contribute an egg with Nimbus. No pressure though. This batch is already pretty substantial.

[She gives him one last kiss before stepping back to consider the offer. Nimbus... probably wouldn't mind? And as a breeder, it wasn't so out of the question for her to take on the task?]
I can see how she feels about it, at least. And see if any of the males draw her interest?

[After all, it wasn't as if Armin had raised any of his Pokemon to be unruly. And even if a few stuck out in their behavior, he wasn't liable to suggest them.]
We both trust you.

[He barely gets the line out before he is laughing and shaking his head. He may have someone lucked his way into being together with Angel, but he is certain romantic prowess has nothing to do with that.]
Okay, not that. But it seems we are in agreement then. We can ask her what she wants and go from there.

[She tucks her head against his shoulder, just for a moment.]
We don't have to rush into it. It seems as if you may have your hands full at the moment. I am sure the offers are coming flooding in!
