[ Action ∞ Video ]
Who: Min-Gi Park and YOU
Where: Network & Goldenrod City
When: 17th-23rd September
Summary: Min adjusts to technology / Min encounters a furry thief
Rating: PG
Log:
[Min-Gi seems fairly relaxed as he sets up the framing for the camera. That might have something to do with the Alolan Vulpix that's currently napping in his lap. It's hard to be stressed when you have something that adorable snuggled up with you.]
It's kind of weird how you can have conversations with people like this, huh? I thought cordless phones were cool, but this goes way beyond that.
And like... you can store animals in tiny balls and computers? How does that even work? I thought it was probably cruel at first, but they don't seem to mind it...?
[He looks down at the Vulpix, but she has no answer for him. Only a quiet snore. Cute.]
I think they probably like warm laps more though. I don't know what I'll do if she decides she wants to evolve.
[action - 19th-23rd September]
Goldenrod City - Near the Department Store
[Min-Gi had thought he'd escaped hospitality, but with the need for money outweighing his distaste for the work he'd caved. It was just a week, right? The food court turned out to be worse than the diner had been, but at least it was now the end of his shift.
With most of the clean up done, Min's just taking out the trash before he can leave. Getting the dumpster closed is easier said than done with how full it is by the end of the day, and by the time he has the lid down securely he needs a moment. He sighs, trying not to think about what might be on the wall as he leans up against it. He pulls off his Slurpuff styled cap, closing his eyes for just a moment until...
There's a sharp tug as the hat is pulled from his hands, and by the time he looks all he sees is a glimpse of red as the thief disappears around the corner.]
Hey!
[He doesn't take off after them at first, half-expecting for it to have been dropped once it becomes obvious it isn't anything valuable or edible. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. He looks back at the door to the department store, then towards the end of the alley where he'd seen the thief disappear.
With a defeated grumble he takes off running. This situation feels horribly familiar. Or at least it does until he turns the corner that leads onto the street and manages to smack right into someone.]

I don't really understand how it works myself, but from what people have said the Pokemon are at least comfortable enough. I like keeping mine out when I have them in my party, though, just to let them stretch their legs.
I can tell you though...even if she decides to evolve, it probably won't stop her from wanting to cuddle in your lap. I have a few like that too.
Video
I don't have enough Pokémon for it to be a problem if she wants to stay out yet, but she doesn't seem to mind being in her ball when I have put her in there.
[He scratches the Vulpix behind her ears, causing her to crack open her eyes and call softly to him.]
Probably not, but I think it's going to be a while before I can afford a stone for her. It'll give us time to prepare for it if she does want to.

And that's fair too, not all Pokemon want to evolve. At least this it'll be easier for her not to evolve if she decides she doesn't want to.

[It has to be, because he's sure not getting the intricacies any time soon.]
Yeah. It seems like a lot of pressure if you have to stop yourself every time you reach a new level when you don't want to.

[ Which might seem a bit counterintuitive with all the battling, but some of the Pokemon still liked doing it, so? ]
It can be, yeah. I had a Pokemon that stopped wanting to train after a while because he didn't want to evolve. But there are some special stones that they can have that will keep them from evolving, no matter how strong they get. He has one of those now, so he enjoys training again.

So if any of your Pokemon don't want to evolve, you can give it an Everstone.

[Because those are... a lot. Way too much for him just now.]

Hopefully I won't end up needing one for a while...

[Relieved, actually. He hates thise kinds of jobs, so it's nice that they're both easy to get and low pressure.]

It's... good if you need it, but I'm glad it works differently here.

[ She hadn't had much of a choice then, but now that she does she's definitely not doing it again. ]

[ She still misses home a lot, but being here isn't all that bad either. ]
