[As it's that time of year, long-term residents won't be surprised to see Lust pop up in her usual usual Halloween promotion costume, a purple and black witch hat with matching corset and short ruffled and bustled skirt. But instead of her dressing room, where she usually broadcasts these sort of things from, she's standing in what almost looks like a theater set of a fake forest. Behind her, on the other side of an illuminated screen, shadowy figures move gracefully back and forth.]

A good day to all the regions receiving this broadcast. As many of you are aware, the season of thrills and chills is upon us. And as always, Club Medusa will be celebrating the season. But this year we've done something a little bit different. With the help of my brother, we've turned the club into a themed haunted attraction!

And by 'themed' I mean keeping in theme with the club. Our dancers will still be dressed in performance costume, and will still offer the same manner of entertainment, but rather than a stage show we have an interactive haunted house experience for you to walk through, enjoying different scenes and performances. Tour an old castle full of horrors and sensual surprises. Enjoy Halloween themed burlesque dances in every room. Or simply gather in the 'main hall' for drinks and treats with a holiday twist. We'll be opening the middle of the week, and running till the end of the month. If anyone is interested in joining in on the other side, we always have room for more dancers and security and serving positions.

As usual, no touching the performers, but they may touch you.

Due to the nature of the club, 18 and over only please. Free drink included with purchase of ticket, which allows access to everything within. Located in the entertainment district of Ecruteak.

Are you familiar with burlesque?

Mm. Not by that name, but perhaps it is referred to by another name in my home plane? The way that 'breakfast' here is referred to as 'morningfeast' in many dialects of the common tongue of the Surface back home.

Burlesque is a form of sensual dance performance. Hence the outfit. There's no nudity, but it's very suggestive.

Oh! Well, I am perfectly capable of wanton dancing, yes. What is your policy if the audience gets... ah... enthusiastic, shall we say?

Outside of the haunted attraction, performers and the audience are kept separate. The stage is raised and dancers remain on the stage. We have a strict policy, we are not that sort of club, there is no touching of performers or tipping them directly.

Our dancers are paid very well and expect safety and comfort which we take great care to ensure.

That is wonderful to hear. If I am able to reach Ecruteak in a more or less timely fashion, perhaps I might be able to audition for you...?

We do operate all of the year, with regular performances. This is just something special for Halloween. You're welcome to audition whenever you make it here.

[When he returns, he's dressed as if for Pride, with tight (faux?) leather booty shorts which gleam golden and a laced purple vest in the same fabric--his heeled boots go all the way up to his knees. As usual, he still wears his large feathered hat and his eyepatch.

There's a muttered 'why are you like this?' from behind the camera. Jarlaxle ignores him in order to move out of view of the camera for a moment.

The dulcet tones of "Hitmontero" fill the room. Jarlaxle begins to dance.

And he's good. He's very good. 22 DEX and 19 CHA, with a +11 to Acrobatics checks and no shame whatsoever? A man that close to six-hundred years old has no business moving like that.

When it's over, he bows to the camera with an elaborate flourish.]

Yes, I think we could most certainly use you.

I can provide transportation and lodging through the holiday, and if you've an interest in something more permanent we can discuss it. If you prefer to travel, that's perfectly alright and a schedule that suits us both can be arranged. I have dancers who don't live here in Ecruteak, you wouldn't be the first.

Indeed, I might wish to 'commute' as the people of this plane call it, once I have been keyed to the teleportation circles. It is only that I live with my partner, Kimmuriel--he that has been recording this--and he is studying the art of Apricorn ballmaking, which has required us to dwell where the Apricorns are plentiful.

And I think I would in fact be interested in something more permanent, if the holiday engagement works out. It would be good for one of us to have a more regular employment, rather than raising funds mostly through battle.
