[The camera opens on a shakey video, mostly of an Espurr's face as the camera wiggles. The Espurr squeaks. Anyone who can understand Pokemon would hear the Espurr trying to coach whoever was holding the device to hold it steadier.

"Marill!" came the reply.

Finally steady, the video showed what looked to be a house, kind of old looking, but otherwise in pretty good shape with a decent lawn. It looked... really big, but then again it was being shot from a low angle.

Then Espurr toddled into frame, smiling, squeaking, waving his arms as though trying to show off the house behind him before squeaking again and beginning to toddle towards the house. The videographer - a Marill one might assume - slowly followed behind. A Hisuian Zorua poked her head into frame and then darted away.

Finally, the trainer spoke]

Can I have it back now please? You have showed it to them.

"Marill!"

[And Ulaz would finally take the device taking a brief moment to show the videographer was in fact a Marill who went chasing after the Espurr]

Thank you for indulging them. They thought it would be amusing, but it was going to take far too long. Irkut is a little slow.

But I have decided to get a house so that there will be room for them grow. It needs some work, but it means I can make it how I wish.

Yes, apparently they are. Irkut has quite... a personality. Ozriv, the Marill, is the one that came from you.

I had a feeling that was a case. It's lovely to see her doing so well.

She is quite happy, it seems. She and Irkut have been spending more time together as of recently. I also plan to put in a pond so that she has a larger area to swim in.

That sounds wonderful. [She's so proud of her grand-mon.] You're always welcome to visit Four Island as well; she might like the ocean.

[It took Ozriv's mother Chumirra quite a bit of training to get over her fear of open water- a leftover from whatever incident led her to be picked up by the Daycare's Pokémon Rescue team- but she's a thriving aquanaut now, and especially enjoys helping Allura Dive in the reefs surrounding Four Island.]

That would be nice. I'm sure she would enjoy it. And she could have a chance to meet her family.

[It was important he thought. There was no reason why they couldn't have relationships with their families if he knew the trainers well enough to arrange that]

Yes, please do. Chumirra and Ayrol would love to see her, and I'm sure there'd be no shortage among all our Pokémon to dote on her. And the rest of your team might enjoy it as well, of course.

I'm sure she would enjoy any and all doting they would offer. I don't think the others would complain either. They do seem curious about other Pokemon they haven't met before.

That can be arranged. Last year we help a joint holiday party for Grogory Day and the human's Christmas; we have plans to do so again, but I don't think anyone would be opposed to you visiting sooner.

That would be good, either earlier or if it is for Grogory Day. I would like to see the place that you have and of course, you are welcome to come see mine as well.

Excellent, and we would love to visit. Let us know whenever you'd like; Keith and I have defeated almost all of Johto's gym badges, so we'll likely be heading towards Four Island soon to spend December.

Whenever is convenient. I likely won't commence serious renovations on the property until it is beginning to warm up so that way the Pokemon do not get too cold if something should happen.

That's true, not to mention ice might get in the way of some parts of the renovation process anyway.

Yes, that is the thought. If it is warm enough, some digging outside can be done, but eventually it will have to stop. And there is little point in doing any planting as it will soon be too difficult for plants.
