[The video feed opens up rather shakily, as the young man holding the camera is moving rather erratically with it while it broadcasts. Despite the unsteady camera, a mess of blonde hair can be made out. Just as suddenly as the feed had begun, though, the shaking stops and the feed steadies.]

Well hey der everyone! Joey Wheeler comin' to you live from Goldenrod City!

[He leans-in and gives a thumbs-up to the camera.]

Ya know, I been usin' dis Pokégear for a while now but I never realized it could do cool stuff like let you talk to people through camera. Shows me for not takin' da time to get familiar with the little doohickey I s'pose, but how cool is dis? Phones were pretty cool back in Domino, don't get me wrong, but dis is on a whole new level!

[Joey sticks his bottom lip out and nods in affirmation of his own statement.]

I know der ain't no way I was the only one whisked away to dis here world though, so who else is out der?

Yah creepy because you do stuff like buildin' island towers just to blow dem up and dig-up bajillion year old dahk relics instead'a leavin' well enough alone. [Upon hearing Kaiba's just another trainer too, Joey cracks a big ol' shit-eating grin.]

[ He's...seething, almost. And that means his Sylveon senses trouble! A fluffy pastel pink, white, and blue creature comes into frame, sitting on Kaiba's lap and letting out a soft cry. His eyelid twitches but he relents, letting out a long sigh and petting her head. ]

...don't say it. She's a fierce predator, the cute thing's just an act.

You're not tryin' ta be like one-a dem spy movie villains now are ya? Cute white kitty you stroke while tellin' me [He puts on his best German accent.] "No Mistah Wheelah... I expect you to die".

[ Kaiba sits back, slightly tilting his head in confusion. ]

What? No. I don't have time to waste on games like that. If we're going to battle...hm. How's your gym challenge coming?

I'm gettin' all of them fancy fast travel points. No point doin' a boss rush if you're hoofin' it everywhere. It's like in Gauntlet. You gotta clear da' map of all da' goodies before you move on to da' next one. It won't be too long until I got everywhere, and then I'll be good-to-go on kicking some gym butt!

[Joey punches his hand into his other hand as he says "butt" to emphasize the sentence.]

...that's one way, I guess. But the battles are a solid way to make money, and earning badges makes travel easier.

Do you at least have a ride Pokémon yet?

Oh I been battlin' all kinds'a trainahs, but I ain't hit any'a dem gyms yet. People were pickin' fights with me all ovah da place on da way here doe', and you're right dat dey gave soom good cash when ol' Joey kicked their keesters too!

[Joey pumps the air with his fist, making one of his signature "faces" as he does.]

As for ridin' Pokémon, I ain't done nothin' like dat yet. Right now I'm gettin' around on dis' snazzy bike, so I 'spose you could say I'm runnin' on good ol'-fashioned Joey power!

Mm. That's not bad. There was a slightly bigger learning curve to horseback riding, maybe I should've looked at the bikes.

[ But he loves his Rapidash and is especially grateful for her in the winter. ]

Do you have a place to settle for the winter, or are you just going to keep going?

Wait you're getting around on horseback? I shoulda figured you'd be getting around in da' most dramatic way possible. Aftah dragon jet planes I spose' dis is just pah for da course doe'. Hey as long as it's gettin' you frame place ta' place doe' right?
