Hello and happy new year, everyone. I've got a question or two for you all. First--as someone who's had very little in the way of hobbies, even before coming here, I'm looking for some suggestions. [A beat.] Given the time of year and the weather, things that require minimal going outside preferred, but I'll gladly hear other suggestions for later.

Secondly, as someone who has trouble relaxing, any advice or ideas on that particular front would be welcome. I'm starting to realize I may need it.

She is, but she's not always like this. Sometimes she just gets super hyper out of nowhere. She'll calm back down again in a bit.

[Someone has never owned a cat before and has no idea how to deal with zoomies.]

Listening. Most of what I enjoyed back home was jazz and jazz fusion, but some of the people I worked with were trying to get me to expand my tastes.

[Ah, the zoomies. Bucciarati chuckles.]

I'm not sure if this helps or not, but that's definitely a cat thing in general, I'm pretty sure. It's definitely a feline Pokémon thing, at least.

There's nothing wrong with knowing what you like. Besides, there's already a lot of variety within those genres. John Coltrane's going to give you a way different experience to Herbie Hancock.

[The Skitty has... sort of settled. Or at least she's still. She is also extremely taut, her tail thwapping from side to side as she awaits the perfect moment to squirm herself to freedom.]

Is it? I don't know a lot about cats. I was kind of hoping it was because she's still a kitten.

Yes, exactly! I'd even said as much, too... I'll give their recommendations a listen, of course, but...

My own Skitty has her moments, and, perhaps unfortunately, so does my Persian. I didn't have any pets back home, but from what I've heard about cats...

You might find something new to enjoy. It's worth checking things out. It kind of sounds like they might not get what makes jazz so great either though.

[Music is perhaps the one area of his life where Min does have a broad range of taste, but he can definitely understand how it feels to stick to your own preferences.]

Neither did I. I always thought cats mostly slept, though...

That's true enough. And I've definitely got the time to listen to more now...

[Maybe he should try to find the rough universal equivalents of what Mista, Giorno, and-- actually, come to think of it, he's not sure what Fugo and Trish enjoyed. Fugo didn't really talk about that sort of thing much and it never came up with Trish.]

Yeah, that's about what I thought at first, too. Buttons was one of my first and she, uh, swiftly proved that notion to be false, but that might just be her. My Litten and Meowstic are much more sedate.

[Hmm. His Skitty has given up on freeing herself for the moment, but she's chewing on the cuff of his sleeve now instead. He's not sure that's any better. Maybe Skitty's are just more energetic cats in general?]

My bandmate caught a Glameow not too long ago. He seems calmer than Strut does, but maybe I just haven't seen that side of him yet.

To say the least... Honestly, this is my first time seeing quite so much snow. We almost never get any in the part of Italy I'm from. Not being used to it makes it a bit more difficult...

It's entirely possible. Though, that much energy could be specific to Skitty, I suppose. I don't think Fondente was nearly as energetic when he was a Meowth, though he was certainly fairly active.

I'm from Canada. Trust me. Being used to it doesn't make it any better.

It could be. There's still so much I don't know about Pokémon. I'm trying to learn about the ones I have at least, but Skitty's still a new one to me.
