Okay. So. [Reaching down, IV lifts a curious-looking Meowth kitten up into the sight of the camera.] This is Not my Cat.
He’s literally not my cat, but he thinks he is, or whatever else cat logic that equals making himself at home in my traveling bag means that I also ought to feed and entertain him now.
Recently not my cat has started to pelt me with small change -- is that f- I mean, is that normal? It looks like it's grabbing that amulet or whatever it has first and then poing! Always straight in my face!
[He gives Not His Cat an accusatory stare that gets met with the feline version of a :3 face. Can you blame such a cute face?It's definitely planning another coin attack and when to best spring it on its human.
Sighing, IV sets the kitten down.]
I'm also looking for anybody who'd be interested in hunting for pokemon together. It's recently ...been brought to my notice that only having one that's truly capable of fighting might not be a good thing, so any help or advice on how to build a good team would be worth gold.

A tiny electric tick from what the pokedex says. Could be useful for getting into small places. They're rather cute too.
From what I've been reading, teleport only works if you've visited a city already. It can't take you to places you haven't been. You'd be better off with a rideable pokémon. At least that cuts down on your travel time by a third. There is a bike shop in town, worse comes to worse.
Strength shouldn't be your only goal. Type advantages and other stats are equally as important for Battle. Really though, IV. Must I do all of the research for you?
[He doesn't mind. Monsoon's just teasing him.]

Okay, now I think I've heard everything. But okay, don't let it be said that IV's a spoilsport. Let's find your tick and ...whatever that rare other shapeshifting thing is. Maybe I'll stumble over something useful along the way as well.

Of course. When I say 'strong' I mean survival of the fittest, not just some pumped up gorilla. We've already got a human wrecking ball, remember?

Ah, yes. Good, good. You understand natural selection. Well, I suppose I could look up stats and the like of the pokémon in the area to see what best fits that ideology.
And don't let Armstrong hear you call him that.

[Numbers Hunter, Head-Hunter, in the end it's all the same difference to him. Some did it for power, some for ideals ....IV did it purely for the thrill and the venting a good hunt brings.]
Why not? He's the very definition of a muscle gorilla if I've ever seen one. He can't have intentionally build up his body to be like that without being aware of that fact!

[That works out perfectly because Monsoon is much more the intelligence gathering type. Oh, he can be the muscle and hitman if need be but he'd much rather do things the stealthy way and watch from the shadows.]
Because regardless of how buff he is, no one wants to be called a gorilla. A human wrecking ball might get more of an amused reaction out of him though...
